The camera pans onto rolls of mountains that overlook the north of Seattle seeming that zombies havent touched the area. Th camera follows the mountains down into more industrialised areas seeing several herds of zombies around the north of Seattle. In the background we also here the odd car alarm going off signalling the disregard the zombies have for civilisation. The camera then cuts out and straight onto the street with the apartment that the group are in.
-End scene-
The camera pans on a teary Eli who is emotionally distraught by leaving her nan's residence. He holds the curtains as he remembers all the good times he had with her before the apocalypse began. He looks over to the rest of the group who are waiting to go.
Eli: I am sorry its just...
Rose: Eli. Listen to me, its fine, you do what you have to do. Take as much time as you need.
Eli wipes his tears as he smiles at the group opening the door for them to all leave.
Michael: Guys be strong. I know a lot of us hate it out there but just think we are finding refuge that is better than here.
The group start to head down each with a knife in hand ready to face what is out their for them. Olivia and Saskia are the last to get onto the streets feeling the cool breeze on their necks.
Rose: Come on lets get to the highway. We can travel down south. Lets try to get some vehicles and then go down to possibly Portland. We all okay with that?
The whole group collectively agrees as they start to walk towards the highway obviously nervous for their surroundings.

Olivia and Saskia are walking with the group as they notice the smashed glass around themselves.
Olivia: Shit, what happened?
Saskia: I dont know but lets stay with the group. Strength in numbers i guess.
The girls catch up to the group but accidentally knocks into Xavier who is obviously annoyed by their presence.
Xavier: Please girls. What the fuck? Stop messing around your adults not kindergarten kids.
The girls are obviously annoyed at Xavier snapping at them. They walk around him ignoring him as they catch up with Eli
Olivia: Hey Eli you ok? After earliar
Eli nods at the girls has he carries on walking trying to hold his emotions back.
Saskia: We know its sad talking about family. We lost ours but just think you have Rose. I have Olivia. You have all of us
Eli: But if you think of it, its not the same
Olivia: Maybe it not be but well you have a load of us who are willing to stand with you and help you survive. That must be something right?
Eli: I guess but family has always been important to me. Like very important and honestly i dont know if i can stay without my family for long.
Saskia: Stay strong that's all you can do. Your still here right?
Eli: Yea
Eli starts to cheer up as he is obviously motivated by the girls talking to him. As talking to the girls his mood picks up with him holding his shoulders back.
Kimmy: Now guys this is the highway. Hopefully we can find a coach of some sort for us to use as a mode of transport.
The group start to follow Kimmy who knows that Eli is unfit to lead the group.

The camera pans onto a girl who is shivering on the side of a road in floods of tears. The tears roll down her face as the road is bare and only houses a few shops. She looks around seeing a zombie and she grabs her knife, launching it into its head. As she yanks the knife out of the zombies brain she bursts into tears knowing that everything that she has known has gone.
She looks around seeing Oli around 100 metres away from him. Oli looks at her from head to toe and gets out his knife preparing to kill her. She goes to run but Oli is way too quick and jumps onto her shouting at her.
Oli: Gimme your shit.
The girl refuses as Oli pins her arms down using his knees.
Cynthia: Never.
Oli prepares to stab her in the head until she knees him in the gut throwing him to the side.
Cynthia: You come for me again and i will stab your heart and leave you to bleed.
Oli gets furious at Cynthia as her emotion of Sadness turns to anger unleashing her fury at Oli. She is the first to leap forward at him but Oli is expecting it slashing at her arm.
Cynthia: Oh fuck you.
Oli smiles for a second as he narrowly misses a knife to the chest. He is sent to the floor of the concrete watching every move that Cynthia takes.
Oli: Oh you will wish you never done that.
Oli gets even more angry slashing her weaker arm again making her wince in pain.
Cynthia: Thought so?
Oli: Thought so what?
Cynthia: You fight like a gay.
Oli: Oh no you didnt bitch.
Oli finishes Cynthia stabbing her right into her heart plunging his knife down several inches. He then yanks it out and before she turns stabs her in the head.
Oli: and thats why you dont try me.
Oli loots her body sending the knife she owned into his belt for safe keeping. He then eats the food and water she had and start to travel south trying to avoid downtown Seattle.

The group reach a large number of cars scattered over the three right lanes of the highway. The group all split up going to search the cars.
Rose and Summer go the furthest out from the group searching the far side of the group of cars.
Summer: Now what we actually looking for?
Rose: Cars that work , Cause we need them to work so we can head down south.
Summer: Oh i get you now. Be on your guard though as some of these cars look like they have been in some sort of crash.
The girls split up as they hear groaning. They follow the sound but as they see who or what its coming from a zombie grabs Roses arm, but as it goes to take a chunk out of her arm Rose slices across the zombie's face and stabs it right into the head.
Summer: Now that was close.
Rose: Too close. I never saw it.
Summer: Me neither it came out of no where
The girls take a breather for a second and walk to the car where the groans are coming from they proceed with caution as they open to see a boy who is obviously in pain.
Boy: Please dont. I am safe
The girls look at each other and offer the boy their hands helping out the car. The boy offers the help staggering onto the ground metres away from the zombie.
Boy: Thanks so much.
Rose: Who are you? Whats your name?
Boy: Its Billy. And yours
Rose: Rose and Summer. Nice to meet you.
Rose gets the boy up as they exchange hand shakes.
Summer; Everyone. We found someone.
The group huddle around Billy offering him food and water. Obviously scared out of his skin, Kimmy is the first to recognise this.
Kimmy: Guys please give him some space. Michael, Matthew help him to the forest. Me and Annabelle will search the rest of these cars. The rest of you set up camp and we will camp here for the night.
The group follows Kimmy's orders as Matt and Mike help Billy reach the forest. They sit him down on a fallen log as the rest of the group start to build a fire.
-End scene-
Kimmy and Annabelle watch the group as they head away.
Kimmy: Okay Anna, we are trying to find a car that works.
Annabelle: Yea. I know but honestly we need to watch another stunt with Rose and Summer may kill us.
Uncertainty hangs over the two as they split up as Annabelle takes the left and Kimmy takes the right
Kimmy: Tell me if you find anything? Ok?
Annabelle: Yes i will. I love you
Kimmy: I love you too.
The girls start turning keys of cars realising all of them are dead.
Kimmy: You swear no cars are working? At all?
Annabelle: No nothing. Come on lets go back to camp
Kimmy: Wait Annie. I want to ask you something. About when you was little?
Annabelle goes closer to Kimmy wondering about what is going to come out of her mouth.
Kimmy: What happened with your dad.
Annabelle: Nothing, its fine, just leave it be.
Kimmy: But thats the thing, you never tell me anything. We are supposed to be friends but well arent friends supposed to tell each other shit.
Annabelle: You should know me, i dont like talking about my problems.
The girls start to go into a little argument but tries to stay quiet enough that it dont involve the rest of the group.
Kimmy: Exactly. You need to tell me shit, for my sake and yours, if you dont tell me why should we be friends.
Annabelle: Dont say that we will always be friends.
Kimmy: Annabelle! You dont understand. YOU NEED TO TELL ME WHATS WRONG OR I WONT BE ABLE TO HELP.
The arguement starts to get very heated as they both square off at each other.
Annabelle: You wanna know. You really wanna KNOW KIMMY. Well if it. My dad raped me.
Kimmy is taken back originally not believing her.
Kimmy: Wait what?
Annabelle: Yea. Thats right.
Both Kimmy and Annabelle start to tear up holding each others hands.
Kimmy: I am guessing thats why he was in jail.
Annabelle: Yep, its shameful being raped. Being used like that it feel like shit but you wont know that. This apocalypse is kinda a haven for me, to get away from my father get away from what happened but you had to bring it up again and you have made things all worse.
Annabelle breaks their grip of each other letting Kimmy's arms go a stray.
Kimmy; Please annie. Dont leave. We can sort this.
Kimmy's words fall on idle ears as Annabelle leaves her life long friend in the jungle of cars.
-End scene-
Oli walks through the streets of seattle finding himself a new zombie to torment. He laughs as he runs past the zombie slashing both of its arms before running back before it attacks him. He then goes to the zombie again and continually stabs it all across their body.
Obviously happy at his goals, he sits down at an underpass drinking some of his water and eating some of his food.
Oli: Good day killing in my opinion.
Oli moves deeper into the underpass going to sleep

The camera pans onto one of the safe zones in the city which has obviously been deserted. It follows the small town round showing different parts. It then goes onto the bodies that lie on the floor which have been decaying for days. Flies and vermin hang around the bodies as the camera pans onto a fully functioning safe zone which looks like a paradise compared to the one before.

Eli and Rose are in the forest several metres away from the group as they havent spoken much since being on the road.
Eli: Hey Rose, you ok?
Rose: Yeah why wouldnt i?
Eli: Well we havent spoken for a while. I want to make sure your coping
Rose: I am fine. I am coping fine its you i am worrying about at the moment. With the past few days, i know its been hard for you.
Eli: Please i have already had a conversation like this. With the twins.
Rose: Yeah i saw you but i am your wife.
Eli: Rose, you dont understand though. I love you but well how can we be married when look at it where we are.
Rose: So our marriage dont matter anymore. Is that what your saying?
Eli: No. I love you Rose but i cant see us being married if we are like this
Rose rolls her eyes at Eli. As they split up protecting the camp from anyone or anything. The two figures walk away as the ending music plays.
