Three girls are walking along the highway with the one dragging pointy object behind them. The other two stop every couple of second looking up to the burning sun.
AUBRY: Uh this sun. Why is it so burning hot? It’s like Death Valley.
ABIGAIL: I can agree on that. We need to find shelter.
BAILEY: Stop moaning. Really girls.
ABIGAIL: What? Look at my skin its flaking already
BAILEY: Omg girls we are in a zombie apocalypse and your moaning about flaky skin. Really, get a grip.
AUBRY: Yes, we are moaning because it is warm.
Bailey rolls her eyes as she picks her weapon up from the ground. She puts in her other hand and uses it as a type of cane.
BAILEY: We need to find somewhere.
AUBRY: Shall we get a car? It will help us get further.
ABIGAIL: Yeah but I bet none of these work
BAILEY: Surely one of them must work
ABIGAIL: Yeah you have a point.
AUBRY: Okay then we need one with a big boot. For the stuff
The three of them look at their bags. All the three of them look at them in disappointment. Then they all look back up to the cars not far from where Kayla and
BAILEY: I don’t think we have to worry about that
AUBRY: Well we could find a load of supplies
BAILEY: Well we have been walking for ages and what have we found. A bottle of water and a packet of beef jerky. That’s a lot of supplies isn’t it?
Bailey looks at Aubry showing her disappointment in the trio
AUBRY: Hey bailey what is the matter?
BAILEY: I don’t know what you mean.
AUBRY: Since that last town
BAILEY: You’ve lost me completely
Bailey looks away as the three of them start to search for a car that they can travel in
=======FLASHBACK=======
Bailey is in a room sitting on a two-seated couch with a small table to the next to the couch that has a small pot plant on top. Bailey frantically pats her leg as voices can be heard behind the door of the room. She looks over seeing a middle-aged man entering the room with a warm smile directed towards her. But when she sees his smile she quickly turns her face from the man looking towards the glass wall. The man opens his first sentence as
BAILEY’S PHYSCIATRIST: Now. Bailey. How have you been since our last meeting
Bailey gives a huge sigh which last several seconds
BAILEY: Do you want the truth?
BAILEY’S PHYSCIATRIST: It’s a safe place Bailey. You can tell me
BAILEY: Its. Its. Embarrassing
BAILEY’S PHYSCIATRIST: Why? Is it the feeling of you being vulnerable?
BAILEY: I just feel people try to take advantage of me and feel that I can’t stand on my own two feet. I feel like everyone is trying to do what Callum done to me.
BAILEY’S PHYSCIATRIST: It will be better. Trust me
BAILEY: But will it?
Bailey takes some of her hair out of her face then leans down and puts her head between her legs.
BAILEY’S PHYSCIATRIST: He won’t be near you anymore. You will be okay.
*50 MINUTES LATER*
BAILEY’S PHYSCIATRIST: I know it’s a hard time, but time is up. Hope to see you next week
The man walks out with his clipboard under his arm. He knocks his clipboard and opens the door. Before leaving the room nods his head to show his sympathy.
====SCENE 2====
3 weeks since Kayla and Rebecca set up them selves in Kayla’s dad’s lab. They go to search a bit more of the lab.
When the girls park up the cars they got from the pile up. They both arm themselves with a knife ready for what is inside. Rebecca goes in first gently opening the double doors into a small reception
KAYLA: Remember to be quiet. There will be people in here I imagine
REBECCA: Hopefully they are sane
Rebecca and Kayla both let out a small screech before they realise where they are. After they let out a screech they both look at each other in agreement. Rebecca stays in front as they pass through another door. But as they pass through the door a little crash is heard.
KAYLA: Get down
Kayla signals to Rebecca to slip behind a huge cardboard box. As they hide behind a box they hear two people talking
GIANNA: Hey hunter. Keep it down.
The boy picks up the box with his hands not realising that Kayla saw what was in the box
KAYLA: Rebecca. They have supplies. Maybe we can talk to them.
REBECCA: If your sure
Kayla is the first to get up and walks to the old lady. She walks a few steps to see that Rebecca hasn’t followed her and still hiding behind the box. Kayla shrugs her shoulders as she gives a slight cough to the old lady for assign of attention seeking.
The old lady turns around slowly but as she sees Kayla she drops her box and gives Kayla A hug
GIANNA: Thank god. We are not the only ones in the world
The boy from earlier also turns around and offers his hand to Kayla. Kayla gives her hand to the boy as he glares into the girl’s eyes
HUNTER: Hey I am hunter, and this is my nan Gianna
Gianna waves her hand to Kayla as Kayla waves onto Rebecca. Rebecca looks up and comes from her position as she walks her posture is straight with her knife getting slid back into her hand made belt.
GIANNA: So how are you guys?
KAYLA: We are good
HUNTER: Do you want to join us?
The two girls question the proposal from the boy. Until they look at each other both showing their favour of this offer.
KAYLA: We would love to.
Kayla’s eyes start to gleam as she puts her backpack down onto the floor.
REBECCA: Is there any where we can put our stuff?
GIANNA: Yeah, we have quite a bit because I used to be an ammunition store owner, so I basically looted my shop before the apocalypse was started. I feel lucky we found this place. It looks secure already. Anyways me and my boy Hunter will show you.
Gianna turns around as does Hunter towards a room looking packed with weaponry. The quad walk into the room with the girls looking astounded
KAYLA: Now you weren’t kidding.
GIANNA CHUCKLES: Yeah but could you help us because some don’t work I just got the stuff I could and left with Hunter.
REBECCA: Yeah we can. I don’t know how much help we could be though.
Gianna smiles with her teeth showing and starts checking out her rifles that she has
====SCENE 3====
Vespar is in his bed still recovering from his fall while thinking about what happened in the past days. As he puts his face in his palms Shannade walks in, in a caring and compassionate way
SHANNADE: Hey. You okay
VESPAR: Well how can i? I killed my best friend actually not only that but a girl friend my soul mate, my everything.
Vespar starts to cry as he looks at Shannade
SHANNADE: Hey we are all doing stuff what we didn’t want to do. I miss her too. We are doing things to survive
VESPAR: Yeah but I didn’t. I pulled her down with me
SHANNADE: Hey I had to kill three of my friends because a sign collapsed on them and it killed them. I had to kill there zombified bodies.
Vespar’s emotions just get worse as he cries while he speaks
VESPAR: You don’t understand
SHANNADE: Yes, I do
VESPAR: No you don’t
In the fit of rage, he pulls out a tube that was going into his arm. When he does several
alarms go off.
Seconds after the alarms Lincoln and Skylar rush in and start to try and get the tube that Vespar pulled out back into his arm.
VESPAR: Shannade it was because she was pregnant
Suddenly there is a tiny scream coming from Lucia’s body
====SCENE 4====
Greg, Ashely and Tyrone are starting to pack up their things because they have decided to move on
ASHELY: Hang on. Where is my machete? I put it in the cupboard
GREG: I haven’t saw it. Rebecca might have had it?
ASHELY: She wouldn’t, would she?
GREG: I don’t know. Well she did leave so I don’t know. She could have but we will not be able to see if she did or not.
Tyrone grabs onto his bag and puts it onto his back. He looks at the other two as they all put their bags on their shoulders. Tyrone is the first to exit the building round the back where they killed the sisters
TYRONE: You ready?
GREG: Yes I need to find kayla
TYRONE: Are you ready Ashely?
ASHELY: Let me say bye to the house.
Ashely renters the house and lays a rose on the floor and then she sits down and draws a cross in the blood and a love heart. When she finishes the love heart she blows a kiss towards the ceiling then walks away with her hand dragging behind her
ASHELY: Love you nan. I will miss you
Ashely starts to have a tear in her eye as she closes the door behind her.
ASHELY: I am okay
Ashely looks away as the trio walk away from the house. They have their weapons at the

(FLASHBACK)
Ashely’s nan is baking some cherry pie.
NAN: Ar she loves her cherry pie. I hope she enjoys it
Ashely opens the door to her Nan’s house.
ASHELY: Hey nan. How are you?
NAN: I am okay. But I am fattening you up again.
Ashely and her nan starts to have a little chuckle as Ashely grabs a knife. She cuts into the still-warm pie and she grabs a plate and puts her slice on the plate.
ASHELY: Thanks nan. I enjoy your cherry pie.
NAN: I enjoy making it for you.
Ashely’s nan smiles at her grand daughter realising that she hasn’t got her dentures in
NAN: Uh I forgot my dentures I won’t be a second.
Her nan walks up the stairs and goes into her room. She goes to the side of the bed and she opens the middle draw on her bed side table. She looks in it and sees a locket of Ashely and her grandad
NAN: I miss him.
Her nan keeps her hands on the locket till she lets it go and puts it back in the draw. She then gets her teeth and puts them in the mouth while slightly adjusting them until she exits her bedroom.
ASHELY: Nan. Are you coming down? Its time for songs of praise
NAN: I am coming, my dear
Ashely’s nan starts to Hoddle down until she gets to the bottom. She walks round to the front of the sofa and sits down next to Ashely.
NAN: I love you Ashely
ASHELY: I love you too nan. I couldn’t think of what could happen without you.
NAN: I agree
The two give each other a tight hug. When they come away the two starts to eat the cherry
pie that Ashely’s nan made
====SCENE 5====
Bailey, Aubry and Abigail have found a car that works. The three of them get in with Abigail driving.
ABIGAIL: You girls put the stuff in the back?
AUBRY: Yeah, I have and bailey has too
Bailey just sits there and shrugs. Abigail looks at her then starts up the car
ABIGAIL: Now lets go to the city
AUBRY: What are we doing when we go to the city?
ABIGAIL: Where ever the road takes us? Unless you have a place for us.
AUBRY: Well let’s try and find a place with a pharmacy and a convenience store.
BAILEY: What’s the point there will not be anything left
ABIGAIL: It’s worth a try
BAILEY: Uh fine lets go. But don't blame me if you wimps get killed.
AUBRY: We aren't that stupid
Bailey slumps her weapon to the side of her with the points facing downward to the floor. As she does the car starts up and they start to move at a steady but slow pace through the jungle of cars
