Yeah stuff needs to be done but sis.. violent protests aint the way. Now Fox News and co will be out there labeling them terrorists and completely take away from the original crime committed and cause being fought for.
I’m super mixed about this I agree they’re protesting for a good cause but 1. Half the ppl rioting most likely aren’t rioting for that cause. They’re rioting bc they want to be in a riot. And 2. Coronavirus. And 3. They’re destroying people’s businesses and lives. You know the government isn’t gonna pay those business repairs and ppl are gonna be left with nothing. It’s not gonna end with trump. This stuff was happening long before him and will happen long after him unless we completely change our style of government. It’s just so unfortunate that it’s come to this.
adeleadele I hope you do realize that VIOLENT protests at Stonewall (by largely LGBT black/brown people I might add) was a driving force behind LGBT rights in America today
so while its sad that violence is sometimes whats needed to move things forward, you cant really sit there and say it always leads nowhere lol
