Same people that are saying to wear masks and are suddenly all caring about the pandemic are the same people that promoted the protests and actually went themselves, I understand most wore masks but there was literally no social distancing. Same with literally any other mass gathering, like that dumb biker event I saw on the news idk where it is and cant be bothered to look into it, but just Americans.... so dumb
That’s why I did not go. I felt it would be highly hypocritical for me to be saying “you have to stay home and not spread the virus but I can go out bc I feel that what I believe in is more important than what you believe in.” That’s why I did everything I could online and at home

There was significant spike in cases as the protests started happening and the media claimed it was not because of the protests bc they deemed the protests important and wanted people to go. I don’t get how going to the grocery store is risky but going to a gathering of hundreds if not thousands of people isnt. It’s clearly false.
from what ive heard during the protests there was a net increase in social distancing because people not participating in the protests were not going out as much(if at all) during them fetish
