Probably just for a few days, I'm not that easy to get rid of. But I will be taking a much needed break.
At the very end of March, three days after my last day of work due being laid off because of the pandemic, my friends Tylor, Taylor, and I formed a survivor tribe. On our third merge, hooked up with another tribe who was willing to open three spots for us, and we became the unstoppable supertribe #TribeAri.
Through 36 merges I spent 6 months with these people, and this tribe felt like a little online family to me during a much needed low point in my life. Tonight that was cute short, because apparently to some people, preserving 3 merge streaks for themselves and their multis is worth making enemies. Also, literal fuck you to _Ravenclaw_ for lying to us about how he was voting, and then the second I left posting and asking to be voted out. I never did anything to you, and I deserved better.
I'm writing this because I am hurt and disappointed that something I put so much time and effort into, that I legitimately cared about and provided comfort of one stable thing during a rough time for me has ended. If you need to respond to this blog by negging, calling me a bitter crybaby, whatever, go for it.
For now I will take advantage of the fact that I do not need to check in every 12 hours, and give myself a much needed short break.
