kc’s takesies : i’ve never heard of “phantogram” before, even though they’re the upstate ny representation i feel like is needed in music... but i liked this album! the vibe at times got tiring for me, but when it hits it hits hard. Album is good. I have no source of comparison, so this could legit be their worst album ever for all i know, but i liked it.

zu's reviu:  i haven't heard their last album completely, but i recall the general sound of it being a bit edgier than their previous work, namely their album "eyelid movies" which i think contains some of their best songs.  this album seems to be an extension of their most recent album, carrying on the darker and moodier sounds.  and i must say, i had no idea that this album would feature some of the most cacophonous songs of the decade thus far.  some of the songs were good, some okay, but the ones that were bad had lousy, whiney vocals from both artists.  this is a far cry from what id call phantogram's peak.  it's simply inexcusable.

FINAL ALBUM RATING: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

catch us on the blogs page next week when we review megan thee stallion's new album, suga! until then...toodaloo!
