KC’s Takesies : I went into this very blindly... or should i say... deafly. I had never heard a song of “Tame Impala” in my life before this, so I had no real standard or bar to hold this album up to, but overall I quite liked it! Some songs went on a bit too long, but they are still not bad! Will I be relistening to some of these songs in a month? Probably not, but if I was listening to a playlist or something and one of these songs came on would I skip any of them? Probably not! I didn’t hate any of this, I quite liked it! I vibed to the vibes of this album! It was cute! Although, admittedly, some songs dragging on a bit too long kind of just made me lose my interest in them. That’s hardly a valid criticism, but oh well, it is how I feel.
zu's year in review: when i started listening to this album, i wasnt quite vibing, so after a couple songs i restarted it with headphones in and oh WORD! was this album transcendent! a lot of the songs had my hindquarter twerking involuntarily. i enjoyed every single song off this'n! brava, tame impala!
