America is one of the most diverse countries in the world and none of the demographics point at 95% white 5%other. the amount of white people is not at all proportionate to the racial demographic of America and you'd have to be a fucking moron to say otherwise. Nice try, try again.

i went through the trouble of figuring out everyone's race in the cast of #bb20 just so i can prove that big brother casts fairly. robyn kass is not the first person id go to to cast an interesting group of people, but if cbs does anything right, they are equal-opportunity casters when it comes to race.
according to the 2010 u.s. census, the racial demographic of america is
- 72.4% white
- 12.6% african american
- 4.8% asian
- 0.9% native american
- 0.2% pacific islander
- 2.6% mixed race
- 4.8% other
- 16.3% ethnic latinos (of any race)
so in a sample size big brother cast with 16 houseguests, there would be
- 12 white people
- 2 black people
- 1 asian
- no native americans
- no pacific islanders
- no mixed race people
- 1 "other"
- 3 hispanic/latinos
what's the point im trying to make? authenticxxletters tried to insinuate minorities are underrepresented in big brother, but that's so wrong! here's the racial makeup of the #bb20 houseguests...

oops, this is the part where i realize white people ARE overrepresented in this cast...considering i had to include blatant aryans like jc (literally from spain), steve (white-adjacent italian), and faysal (arab/middle east asian). black people and asians are equally represented, though, unless i find out kaycee has a white dad (god forbid). oh whale!
I think it becomes a shock based on where you live. Like I live in CA where the demographics are very different from national ones, so I am always shocked there arent at least like 4 hispanic people a cast
1) Faysal is not white. If we remove middle eastern people from the percentage and remove Faysal from your count, then white people are underrepresented (which isn't a big deal since groups are going to be wavering back and forth between being over- and underrepresented).
