P E M D A S

you multiply before u divide ....

1 + 2 = 3

2 (3) = 6

6 / 6 = 1
Sent by NotNicky333,Jun 18, 2018
you shouldn't be doing the multiplication before the division, the multiplication isn't in brackets, just the addition is nothingbutrouble

you do  6/2  first. Because division and multiplication dont have preference over each other so you go from left to right

ok you do not multiply before you divide, the multiplication isn't in brackets LMAO ... just because the 3 is doesn't mean the whole thing is notnicky333 memphis_grizzlies zuelke

GiGi

The 2 is being multiplied to the brackets are you OK???
Sent by nothingbutrouble,Jun 18, 2018
MD in PEMDAS goes left-right. one doesn't have priority over the over so it's 9

you just do the parenthesis, divide, then multiply because divide is first when you go left-right
this is why some countries teach BODMAS instead of PEMDAS (or even BEDMAS in canada); it doesn't matter either way

6/2 (1+2)
6/2 (3)
3(3)= 9

It’s bedmas. Brackets, exponents, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction that’s the order in which you solve lol

Imagine not knowing there's a difference between 6 ÷ 2 ( 1 + 2 ) and 6 ÷ [2 ( 1 + 2 )]
