1st Place: Litwick
Song Choice: Believe by Cher
This is one of those songs that the instant I saw it submitted I got excited, and sad that I forgot that this gem was out there. ImIt’s such an amazing song, the sad lyrics but dance bops is such a vibe, and ever since I was a kid I loved it so much so thank you for submitting this!
2nd Place: Solrock
Song Choice: Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani
This shit is bananas! Fun fact I was a Gwen stefani little stan back in elementary school I listened to this album ALOT! I really love this song it’s so so good and gives bad ass from start to finish.
3rd Place: Mawile
Song Choice: Man-eater by Daryl Hall and John Oates
I love making my dreams come true, and I didn’t think I’ve heard this song before so I was excited to listen. Turns out I knew the song and I really enjoyed listening from start to finish. The sax solo is so good!

4th Place: Pheromosa
Song Choice: Come on Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners
The first time I heard this song was watching perks of being a wallflower and I thought it was so fun. It’s weird it actually took me that long to listen to it because it’s such a classic, and I can’t help but sing along every time it comes on. Great song choice!

This song is iconic!!! Will forever be a top tier pop song and one of Britney’s best (not my absolute fav of hers, but it did make number one for a reason)

Song Choice: Straight Up by Paula Abdul
At first I was like hmm idk this song, but then it started playing and I instantly recognized it. Probably my first time intentionally listening to it, and it’s so good! The bridge was a little weird but overall liked the song.
Bottom 2: Piplup
Song Choice: All For You by Janet Jackson
So an earlier round I think I said I had been listening to Janet for the first time and liking her music. This is my first time hearing this song and I really love the verses but not a huge fan of the chorus which is a bummer. I think I find it a little repetitive, but it is catchy I’ll give it that.

Well we lost one and gained one, and it only took a week :) The competition is stiff, so even the smallest critiques may be enough to send you home. The next round we are going to get into some fun covers!
