A Year Ago Today

I slipped on a step and broke my tibia as well as fracturing other bones around my ankle.
   
I'm just about able to walk again and am still learning to run again.
   
We take such little things for granted.
   
The break was so bad, I have 2 metal plates and 18 pins and screws putting it all together. However I got the thumbs up to have the metalwork removed.
   
So yeah, a year ago my life got turned upside-down and I had to learn to walk again. Fun times.

My mom broke her leg six years ago and had 3 surgeries, and still not fixed. We're all so lucky :/ glad ur better :)

omfg I just broke my ankle horribly as well in both major bones. its been a bit over a month now but they say I will be in a walking boot in 3 weeks?
