Yoshitomi She didn't specifically give the home address, she just hinted. It may be morally wrong to people, but it ain't against the law or isn't really considered "doxxing".
Danny12 Yeah and that's also wrong. 2 wrongs don't make a right.
Whoever lives there can report her for doxxing personal information.
As long as there's the logic that crimes can be justified with "they deserved it", what's stopping a crime happening to you or me and no legal justice happens because they insist you "deserved it"?
Kandee_ This is exactly what doxxing is.
If that information is accurate, it's enough to find out where someone lives. Postcode and possible house number? You honestly think that doesn't tell you where someone lives? That's enough information to send a package.
Yoshitomi The address is incorrect. "doxxing" means to "search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent"
Her intent isn't malicious, that may not matter.
I feel the meaning is being a bit stretched out, I think what she did was completely okay, she may be "threatening" but that isn't an offence to anything as far as I know. She posted a false address, without a name, the address means nothing unless the address has been confirmed by her leading to a certain individual.
The other information such as the city, postcode, etc... they are all common knowledge, still, as they are not linked to anyone, it does not mean a thing.
The actual individual has been confirmed, but that was their own fault.
