I have a gripe with this. Because I end up falling for it and it's always a lie.
Online shops have this scheme where they say these things are SELLING OUT FAST so you feel like a super ninja when you manage to buy it before it sold out.
HOWEVER, a few a days later comes a solemn email.
- Due to overwhelming demand, your order will be delayed until the item is back in stock. -
EXCUUUUSE ME!?
I showed my ninja skills!
I ordered and checked the site after, item still "in stock" but low.
Even on websites where it gives a number for the number of available items, same exact issues.
The worst was a top I ordered for Halloween. They pulled this garbage excuse but I went back to the website and they were still selling the top with an
"If you order now 2-day delivery"
