As a lot of you know this has been a really tough week for me as I suddenly lost my Granny who was very close to me and this was not expected.

Tengaged has been some form of escapism I have really needed (for any of you who think I am a loser for being the Top Karma person).

I thought I would share with you a memory / story that my Granny gave to me that maybe you yourselves can use <3
So when she was younger she went and stayed in a hotel called 'Elm Bank'. She went in and there was a lady at the reception wearing bright red lipstick.
The next day my granny came downstairs and this lady was still sat there in the same clothes and same bright red lipstick (she was obviously just on a night shift or something), but my Granny being my Granny thought this was highly unusual.
Anyway, ever since then when my Granny was tired and couldn't be bothered to really get out of her clothes/take her makeup off ready for bed, she would say... 'I feel like doing an Elm Bank tonight'.
I now use this with my friends and I have done for a few years and I will so in her memory. Maybe you can too. When you're super tired and just cba to get out of your clothes or brush your teeth or anything, maybe you will do an 'Elm Bank'!
Anyway, writing this has me tearing up but I wanted to share this.
- Sorry I have been a little inactive recently, I have just been taking this in, in my own way and time.
- The funeral is on the 25th so I have a few days now to prepare, but I have written some words to say, so I hope come the day I am able to have the strength to say it.
- Thanks to all of the people who have sent me kind words, I do truly appreciate you.
I’m so sorry for your loss, my grandma passed away right before Christmas and I’m still taking that in. It’s a process and things will get easier with time! The memories never go away 💗
I'm so sorry yonaka! This is heart breaking 💔 I've never had the courage or been able to find the words to speak at a loved ones funeral but I'm sending u so many positive thoughts and prayers that u can stand strong!!
