</3 maybe try reaching out to them a bit more? if that doesn't work and it seems like ur the only one making effort then it's probably best to just hang out with the new ppl and have as much fun as possible w them. doesn't mean ur old friends don't care about you, some ppl just fall out of touch
all jokes aside, the first times are always bad but you get used to stop caring for ppl (family/friends) who arent reciprocal towards you and begin to enjoy those who are much more bc u deserve better. Doesnt matter how long youve known them, its about intensity so you do you bud. Hope u feel better soon !
I've been through this. It honestly sucks when people, who you might consider as best friends, find other friends and you become a shadow kind of. At first I tried to give them space because I didn't want to seem like a bitch, but as the time passed I distanced myself and looked for the new people to hang out with. I am always down to have a drink with old friends if they want to, but personally I would never reach anyone again who thought it was ok to just leave.
Stay strong, sometimes new friends are exactly what you need.
