POV's - My Views On Hypocrites

Apr 5, 2010 by Wicche
image"I am a Catholic," but you sin.
"I am polite," but you interject.
"I am noble," but you thieve.
"I love you," but you lie.

Ring a bell anybody? They are the most irksome things that have the audacity to writhe on this planet - they're called hypocrites.

"DO this, DON'T do that," DO practice what you preach, DON'T play the world for a fool.
"Come here, go there," What about you? You're everywhere!

Get off your high horse and wet your feet like the rest of us in this world. Nobody wants a negativity like you all preying on those content with life to hide their insolent insecurities about themselves. You all have to stop it, now. Religion-wise (A zealot doesn't deserve the privilege to boast about their faith when they can't follow it without twisting it's ways to their comfort.), Health-wise ("Don't eat this garbage, it's so awful for you!"). That whole "I do it for you because I care." shit doesn't really work on the world anymore. Stop hiding behind your pathetic facades and face your demons head on, seriously, it's sickening.

it's not hypocritical to be a catholic and to sin, i have no idea where you got that. every catholic is expected to sin in fact the bible says that everyone is born with sin, it's more about trying not to sin and when you we do sin, recognizing it and asking for forgiveness from god.
so you need to take a look at the bible before you say what a catholic is hypocritical for :)
just sayin

That is an exact example of what hypocrisy is all about, don't twist the words of the bible. The way it works is that man turns the other cheek when it comes to the seven sins, because that means one would be succumbing to the ways of the Devil. On the other hand, you are right about how a Catholic can absolve his/her sins. But that's not my problem there's a flaw in the religion. This still makes every single practitioner of Catholicism a hypocrite because they cannot sin in the eyes of God but can absolve them through the blood of Christ. A Catholic's regime is to not commit the seven deadly sins, human nature once again prevails over myth, and those sins are committed. If this is the case than the Vatican must change their ways or nobody should be a Catholic, because one can't be wholesome when their faith contradicts their life. I highly suggest that you also flip open a Bible and actually read it sometime before presenting your information like that - it is a little embarrassing really. But you do have a point, and I acknowledge that. And if you still don't understand the whole sinning concept, there are always many other things that can make a Catholic a hypocrite.
