Since I have a passionate love for television, every year I create my own version of the Emmy awards (where the nominations should replace the legit ones). In this blog series, I will post one category daily and review it. I'll announce my nominations and then my winner.

The eleventh category is Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. When the Emmy academy that gave Modern Family 5 Comedy Series wins and decides to only nominate one of the talented male actors, you realize that this category is competitive. And tbh my nominations are pretty perfect.
My nominees are:
Titus Burgess as Titus Andromedon - Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy – Modern Family
Jaime Camil as Rogelio De La Vega – Jane the Virgin
Tony Hale as Gary Walsh – Veep
T.J. Miller as Erlich – Silicon Valley
Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson – Parks & Recreation
And the winner is...

Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation! While all these performers gave great performances, I feel like Offerman's under-appreciated work was the best (and also probably his career-best) on the Leslie & Ron episode of Parks and Recreation. Ron's character never really showed emotion throughout the series unless he was drunk or one of his crazy ex-wife's returned to screw him up. In the final season of the show, Ron finally had a raw moment which was a moment that the show had been building up to for the seven seasons. The mixture of comedy and drama that Offerman brought in the Leslie & Ron episode is truly remarkable. His consistent work throughout the rest of the season was what really made him standout to me. (but also Jaime Camil and T.J. Miller and Tony Hale and Ty Burrell and Cameron Monaghan all absolutely slayed as well)
