Spanish can be the language (español/ castellano) or the citizens (española/ español)

same way u can be english german or italian what, just cuz it’s the name of a language doesn’t it mean it can’t also be the name of the ethnic group

anyways most ppl just say spaniard when referring to people from spain, hispanic means ur from a spanish speaking country which includes most (but not all) of latin america sand latino refers to people from latin america which excludes spain
