Phone plan question- HELP

imageRite now i have T-Mobile and i'm looking into getting a new phone and plan that includes the internet.

called them up and was offered a free Samsung Gravity® Smart 2GB and 3G enabled but have to sign up for a 2 year contract costing 49.99+tax.

what i want is a touch screen phone that allows me access to the internet that isn't slow and can download apps (like angry bird).

People are suggesting

-AT&T

what are your thoughts and suggestions on what i should do? any help is appreciated <3
