The four of you have survived this week. Job well done.
SAFE SUBMISSIONS: #Tommy123: Fantasy by Mariah Carey (1995) #ayleah6987: Bye Bye Bye by NSYNC (2000) #VanitySmurf: Fever by Madonna (1992) #icyz: CowboyStyle by Kylie Minouge (1997)
Now onto the critiques!
PenguinOwen126: SOS by Rihanna (2006)
This song is classic Rihanna at her shining moments, and it's such a fun number to listen to. No matter how old it may be, it still has a fun modern take on our world today. I think it was a job well done for you.
livnglavidaloca: La Copa De La Vida by Ricky Martin (1998)
You were the only one to do a song by an artist inspired by the username, so A+ for that. It's a song that I listened to all the time at various places, but I could not for the life of figure out who it was. I love it! It's a fun tune, and it'd make my late nana boogie. I think this was another solid round for you.
rhayden82: Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley (1994)
There is so many versions of this song, and it's just such a massive song around the world. This version was not my favorite tbh. There were various moments where it sounded one noted, and didn't have the same emotional level that I know other artists would do. It's not that the song is bad, I just wish Jeff had more emotion for it.
jason_2_12: Shy Guy by Diana King (1995)
I didn't mind the song, I think it was boring compared to the other submissions. She definitely has a nice R&B spin and it's fun. I feel I would keep it playing in my car. But when I hear the other submission I was more entertained. I'm sorry Jason :(
Hisoka: My All by Mariah Carey (1998)
Mariah is an artist I don't like, but I give credit where it's due that she can harmonize. This song was okay, just okay. I think listening to it a couple times I wanted to enjoy it more than what I do. But in the end of the day it was just meh compared to what else was brought.
PinkFantasy: Back To Black by Amy Winehouse (2006)
I have been fucking waiting for Amy Winehouse to come on this series, and thank God you brought this hit! It's jazzy and soothing to my ears with a obviously subliminal message that most your age probably shouldn't get lol! I can never not love this song, and I think this was a massive improvement from last round. Good work!

- #PinkFantasy!! Congratulations! Amy Winehouse is hard to beat in my eyes, and you brought it this round. :)
For #rhayden82, #jason_2_12 and #Hisoka you three were the weakest in history. But one of you showed redemption and will fight another round.

- #Hisoka! You have survived this round! Good work.
That means #rhayden82 and #jason_2_12 you are both up for elimination. This challenge as always will be your last chance to stay in this competition.
You showed that the years you were born lacked the taste. But sometimes it takes going further in the past to showcase what you can do.
ELIMINATION CHALLENGE: THE GOLDEN DECADES
For this challenge, I want you to submit to me any song that comes from the following decades (1950s, 1960s, 1970s). They cannot be released in the 40s or 80s. They have to come within that gap listed above. If your song makes me glad for the past, then you will be safe from elimination. Loser will go home.
Both of you have until 7 pm EST tomorrow to send in your songs. Good luck!
