I finally made it. Been over a year since my last stars finals, despite getting a 3rd and a first (14 person and 15 person games respectively).
This game started out rough for me. People kept splitting and I didn't know who, and pretty much everyone nommed me for 14th. After that I knew i had to change how i was playing. So i started fighting dirty. I gained trust with people, not letting it blind me from my goal. I nommed whoever i needed to so i could make it here. Adam/Obstreperous for 11th. 2 allies.
Iybf and Vlad for 8th. 2 allies
Etc. Even though i was nomming the people i was working with, I still managed to maintain their trust. After going up i was only a counter for 9th and 4th even with hoe muc backstabbing i did (but everyone is a counter for 4th so does that really count?)
I was able to pin what i was doing against others to help myself move forward. I was planning days out in advance, looking at every possible outcome if a certain set went up. I had the sets for 6th/5th/4th planned out at final 7, and my predictions were correct. I believe i played the best game in the cast without question, so I hope that makes up for my lack of popularity.
