My stars debut. Coming into Stars 300, I knew there were big expectations. However, I adapted fast and made sure I was thinking on my feet at all times. I learned the ropes and made decisions that were best for myself and only myself.
I started off this game by aligning myself with the majority alliance. As a first timer, I did not want to stick my neck out because it would be that much easier to fault my mistakes and get rid of me. Unfortunately for dylanceltics, he had a different thought of mind and found himself out of this game early by making that mistake. I stuck loyal to my majority for the time in which I could get my footing of how the game worked and how people played the game strategically. Our alliance nominated every single person of the minority and renommed them to pick them all off before we would begin to turn on each other.
However, seeing as though tengaged was not fond of this, I then began to take my game into my own hands. On Day 7, I decided to stick my neck out and try to make a big move. “With big risks come big rewards”, and I decided to target Karim, the decision maker of our majority alliance. It was me who took the actions and the heat in persuading others to nominate him. He would of went up as well, if it weren’t for a last SECOND flip when Shannon (Sweetgirl) realized she was evicted. However, persistence got him up the following day after Pandora’s Box had an effect on two players. Karim was a good friend of mine, but in a game of big brother, I had to keep my friends close, and my enemies closer.
I continued to fight through the evictions of my close allies, and find myself in the final 3 with the help of the public. Great moments are born from great opportunity. Support the underdog in my first stars to show that anyone can win this game. I fought my heart out this week and got to where I am through the actions of my own game. This is my first stars game and possibly my only and I want to make it count and come out a winner!
