So I'll be starting college soon! I plan on becoming a dental hygienist!
I got my fall schedule and 2 online summer classes I'll be taking. It feels nice to actually have hope for my life.
Any advice about college? I am going to a community college, so it is going to be different than the universities.

If you are going to do the school thing, then I would advise you to just go ahead and become a dentist.
Stay at the community college. I would pick a major to transfer to a 4 year with, while also completing the dental hygienist program. So by time, you are ready to transfer to a 4 year...You'll have your dental hygienist license and you can work while you get your bachelors and then you can apply for dental school. The dental hygienist license and your work experience in the dental field will look good on applications for dental school.
college is super different from high school it's so much more enjoyable imo. good grades are super important especially for a major like dental hygiene so just try ur best :)
My community college has an associates in dental hygiene, so I will be done in 2021 and be working debt free. I didn't really plan on becoming a dentist just because med school is so expensive. I am not really sure I am answering your advice or not lol. Thanks though so much for the help! :) kingtrav
