Comments: #Aquamarine This sounds like Sour Candy to me and I can't unhear it, its also nowhere near as good as Cleopatra.
Alexeh As a piece of music Cleopatra was NOT a good song, but it was fun and iconic and had a lot of personality and chaos going for it that was always going to be difficult/impossible to replicate. Mata Hari is basically the same song, with the same musical quality, but lacking any of the personality that made Cleopatra appealing. The verses are really not good, and the chorus (or lack of) is fine but unexciting. The end part is good, but this feels so cheap and tacky.
Fritzyyyyy unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.
Hellocat Better than Cleopatra in my opinion
J2999 Now this is fine wine if I've ever seen it. I slept on this for SO long then one time at 2:30am listened and it was first the last like 20 secs that hit HARD, but then just the entire thing. Driving to this on full blast is a fave past time. MMMM MATA HARI! Let's start a fire. Shhh. Let's go. :)
LiukBB Bop bop bop
Patrick319 "It's enjoyable at first, but gets boring quickly. Pretty much a watered down version of Cleopatra."
Seaviper I hate to say it...but if Cleopatra didn't exist this would be a 10. I just don't like how this is a clone to Cleopatra, but it is still a bop!
Thegoodman It was never gonna light the world on fire tbh, and it isn't as impactful as Cleopatra was but it is definitely a fun bop and will deserve its likely mid table finish.
Tommeh208 This has also fell, I like it a lot more than last year but again in comparison to other female pop songs it's not quite there.
