At my job. After my new boss came in 3 weeks ago she immediately fired an employee 2 days into her reign. There are 4 of us left
1 Middle aged lady that has worked here for over a decade and has her shit handled
1 Middle aged man who is honestly a mess and a huge kiss ass and was friends with the manager before she took over
A young girl that initially had beef with the manager that was resolved this week. The middle aged guy and my manager are close (like I said he's a kiss ass) and he gets to know all this information before anyone else and apparently the manager pulled him in her office and they had a discussion about the young girl. Young girl over heard it and got upset and spoke to the manager the next day about favoritism n shit but it's all cleared up and now they're on good terms.
Then there's me. I don't kiss ass and I kinda don't vibe with my managers personality. She's nice so far but she has a reputation of being really rude cussing and stuff. I'm not here for that so I keep my distance but it feels so awkward. We don't speak at. all. I feel like she can sense my "mind yo business" energy I give off to her.
I think I'm next y'all. Should I work my social game to keep my job or continue my ways and find something different?
