Yikes at them not defining "classical" music. Are they talking about 1750 to 1820 in Europe? All traditional European music (and modern music that is similar in instrumentation and form)? All traditional music? So messy.
I enjoy classical music myself, but as a music education major, I'm required to be well-versed in it.
(I don't enjoy one over another in theory though, just have certain faves within each genre, and favorite pieces/songs and favorite composers/singers.)
