Because they took it off the Friday night death slot, on top of that was the hyped 30th season. Jessica and Cody did not double the ratings themselves or they'd have as many followers on social media.

The TAR casuals will be pissed and not watching
I don't even want to watch since 84% of all BB players are awful.
