I'm not on the vegan hate train

Feb 18, 2018 by Timster
Because when they announce they're vegan it's usually for a reason. Like being invited to a bbq by a stranger, or being asked their favorite food. Ofc they have to tell you they're vegan in their response. It's not like they go "Hi I'm Amanda and I'm vegan" to every stranger they meet.

However it is annoying as hell when someone on social media says they're vegetarian and a vegan immediately comments "you should try going vegan 😃"

IS BEING VEGETARIAN NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU? THEY ALREADY MADE A HUGE CHANGE LET THEM LIVE.. FOCUS ON TRANSITIONING MEAT EATERS IF YOUR GOAL IS TO SAVE THE ANIMALS

See I studied this, basically if there are 10 vegans/vegetarians in a room and 1 of them tells you, the other 9 are doing exactly what you want - staying quiet. Most vegans/vegetarians are probably low key about it but there's no way to tell lmao.

So there might be 500 really loud ass vegans but 1000 who you don't even know are.

I agree with what you said at the end. I couldn’t go vegan because my parents would’ve killed me so I went vegetarian instead and I’ve been vegetarian for a year and 1 month. It was a difficult transition but I have a book on how to turn vegan and a vegan recipe book and I’m going to start when I move out.
