Yes. They just use this as leverage. Both sides use the customers as leverage.

This happens literally every time they renew contracts
I’ll nefer forget when att was fighting with them and every Viacom channel has two banners at the bottom
1. Viacom telling viewers to save their channel and call ATT
2. ATT telling viewers to call Viacom and tell them to stop price gouging customers

However the really could get dropped potentially, I lived in Boone, NC and whatever my basic cable was in the dorms did not have Viacom networks
