I've been far more depressed than I've ever been before lately, and I have absolutely no idea why or how to go about getting help. My family doesn't give a shit, friends ditched me ages ago, there isn't anywhere for miles that deals with this stuff professionally...
I'm at a point where I just kinda feel stuck and lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel ages ago. Motivation to do anything, irl and online, is completely gone and my hatred of myself is deeper than ever.
Ik this really isn't the time or (especially) the place but I just have to get this out since idk how to talk about these things typically.

Julian you can count on me if you need anything, I do love my video game partner <3 just stay strong bro
If you're feeling this way you should really speak to your GP about it... It may not seem like it will help, but trust me it will! They'll give you medication to help you and if you really have depression (which it sounds like you do) then you have a chemical imbalance in your brain which isn't going to be fixed on it's own. Good luck with it, just remember not to give up - that's the one part of this that you can control and it might be all you've got.
I know it's probably hard to go through and that you start losing hope. But even finding one friend can help turn things around completely. So chin up. And keep fighting :)
Depression sucks. We’ve never spoken before but PM me if you ever wanna talk. There’s a shit load of people that face the same battle. No one should feel alone especially since depression is more common than you think. You’re not alone my friend. Feel better.
I've been there. Twice. The best option is to talk to someone like a doctor. You may not realise that there may be an option near you, even in small towns there are councillors to speak to.
You can get through this. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, believe me.
Sorry to hear about this. Depression is due to an imbalance of hormones so the best way of treating it is to get medication. Also it requires some work on your own lifestyle - if you're out of work, go find something, even if it's a part-time job working in a shop (which may seem like the scariest thing if you also have anxiety!). If you've recently broken up with someone, go out there and go on dates just to test the water. You can do this but you have to do the effort and you can't expect anyone else to do it for you.
Really hope you get better soon and if you wanna chat more then let me know
Firstly, what you're feeling isn't abnormal by any means, this happens to a lot of people and usually out of their control. Chemical imbalances and other biological related things are things that someone professional can help mediate, but you have a strong support system on this site who have got your back to help you get there.
Even if its not nearby, it will be worth taking a day or 2 off to make the journey and consult someone, trust me if you think you're at rock bottom and still going on, it can only get better right?
I was in this exact spot 2 months ago :/ I was very lonely and it sucks.. i dont have much advice in all honesty, I only got out of my spot because I made some irl friends but I got lucky that I was pulled into a friend group, its really hard making friends on your own. But if you still need to talk, my skype pms r open
If this has been going on for a while I would definitely see your GP about it. Anti depressants may be the route to go down and I know people that they work absolute wonders for. Otherwise there are serotonin supplements which can also work wonders if you arent into the idea of going on anti depressants. If this has been going on for a while I would suggest you look into them. In the mean time exercising is a good way to give yourself an endorphin boost. Ultimately its your health and your life so even if the closest professional help is miles away you need to focus on your health first. Also you will always have someone to talk to so dont be afraid to reach out to people :)
