Hi I'm Nikki Blonsky from the movie Hairspray I love your new movie MirandaCosgrove! This song did try to end racism and I like it as one of the best songs from this musical but it A Lot. Christina Milian - 'Call Me Beep Me'
This might have been one of the more obvious songs you could choose but it is that way for a reason. It's definitely stood the test of time as a bop and I do enjoy it. Christina Milian really deserves more recognition of her iconicity around the world. I really love her.
Jennifer Holliday - 'And I Am Telling You'
Now THIS is everything. I've seen Dreamgirls with Amber Riley as Effie and she smashed it but this is even better. I'm so glad you chose Jennifer Holliday's version because it is the PIQUE. She really gives everything to this song, and while it is a vocal extravaganza it's all with real meaning purpose and totally fits the musical and her character. An excellent choice. It's a shame this song has been bastardized by terrible children singing it on talent shows.

From any of the HSM franchise, I would not have chosen this. While it definitely has camp value, it's just not as much of a bop as like Bop to the Top or High School Musical or What Time Is It or Getcha Head In The Game or you get the picture it's not what you coulda picked from this group.... This has not aged well.

I could tell this song was really funny and good but I feel the production was kinda lame and amateur and I could see the actor just kinda going thru the motions with it..

Girllllll. I love this musical! It might be my favourite one ever actually! So you picked definitely correct. This song always kills me. Especially when I first saw it a white woman played Christmas Eve and it was very wrong and problematic but iconic. I can't even get in a taxi!

I can confirm as a prize for winning the very FIRST challenge this season, Absol was given a Hidden Immunity Idol which grants her immunity from elimination as long as she plays it before the judge cut.
