The bottom of the totem pole must choose a Defender as a last chance to stay in the game.
- Ima selects Bubba as the Defender.
The Defender must choose one of two options. Each option can be chosen a maximum of 7 times throughout a season.
OPTION A: Save the bottom of the totem pole. They will be safe, but a twist is unleashed where someone else is eliminated.
OPTION B: Eliminate the bottom of the totem pole and take power in the game.

- Ima is eliminated.
TOP: No challenge. You are the next top of the totem pole.

Each player left casts one vote for someone to leave the game. The top of the totem, Kat, and the Defender, Bubba, are immune from the vote.
