1. Margaret - In My Cabana // Heartvotes: 5/5
SHE'S BECOME BETTER AT SINGING LIVE!!! THANK YOU FOR GETTING VOICE LESSONS!!!!!!
I have a weakness for females singing reggae pop. I first noticed this when I was listening to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2 years ago, when I heard Jessica's "Break It Good". I was instantly a huge fan of it, and this is no exception. This is so catchy, and I REALLY hope that she goes to the final from Andra Chansen.
Also, people are comparing this to Havana. Am I the only one who really can't hear a single similarity between the two? The only similarity they have is that the word Cabana rhymes with Havana. That's it.
2. Mimi Werner - Songburning // Heartvotes: 5/5
It's not a new "Ain't No Good", that's for sure, but this is still pretty good.
I wish she sang better live, because she sounds awful, but the song is REALLY good. This was the ONLY song that I was swinging back and forth to (and I'm still doing it when I'm listening to it!). The chorus is so catchy, and the performance is really powerful.
Literally the only thing that would make this song a winning contender for me would be if she improved her singing, but somehow I doubt that'll happen.
3. Samir & Viktor - Shuffla // Heartvotes: 4/5
I swear, SVT has some form of obsession over Samir & Viktor.
I like this, and they've improved their singing since last time. Sadly, the song is very bland. You only need to listen to the first verse and the first chorus, and then you've basically heard the entire song.
The performance is good, very fun to watch, and I'm glad that they went to the final (even though it was obvious). Gonna be fun to watch this live!
4. Ida Redig - Allting som vi sa // Heartvotes: 3/5
Veronica Maggio is SHAKING!
I can't see myself listening to this after the contest is over, but this is nice. I don't mind it. However, the main problem I have with this song is that I can't focus enough to hear what she's singing.
But this is nice.
5. Jonas Gardell - Det finns en väg // Heartvotes: 4/5
Jonas is a LEGEND. He's one of the most hilarious comedians we have in Sweden. I love him, but it was very odd to hear him sing a ballad. The lyrics are really deep and nice, and I think this song is gonna grow for me in a few weeks, but right now, it's just a bit boring.
Massive shoutout to him having curvy people in the choir behind him!
6. Stiko Per Larsson - Titta vi flyger // Heartvotes: 1/5
This guy is really charismatic, and that's what made me vote for him once; HOWEVER... This is a song which would totally rape the radio play charts on the Swedish radio station P3, and I don't like that type of music. He can sing pretty well (and he's a little bit hot ngl), but this is a no-go for me.
7. LIAMOO - Last Breath // Heartvotes: 0/5
I really don't like this guy, and I never have. I was hoping he was just going to be performing a pop song, but then he decides that "you know what? rapping would be a good idea!". No. It isn't. STOP.
I hate rap, and I very very VERY rarely actually like rap songs. This is no exception. I hate this.
Also, this guy is younger than me. Holy fuck I feel old.

Shuffla is a BOP! I still ranked Margaret and Mimi above S&V though, probably because I like them better as performers but I thought all 3 were great. I also don't see any similarities between In My Cabana and Havana either, people just love comparing songs...
I also missed Liamoo's performance as my mom called me during it lol I didn't care enough to listen to it after it was announced as a winner though, because from the snippet it didn't interest me at all
