I've never really cared enough to complete and finish a masterpiece break-up list until now. HERE IT IS:

7. Circles - Post Malone
8. Someone You Loved - Lewis Capaldi
9. Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac
10. Lose You To Love Me - Selena Gomez
11. Slide Away - Miley Cyrus
12. Landslide - Fleetwood Mac
13. Look At Her Now - Selena Gomez (because I needed something cheery)
14. Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye, Kimbra
15. Small Talk - Katy Perry
16. It Ain't Me - Selena Gomez, Kygo
17. Good as Hell - Lizzo
18. Panini - Lil Nas X
wow idk >50% of those songs lol
umm do you prefer sad or upbeat songs? also im weird so maybe i’m not the right person to ask. I literally listen to everything and I’m more of the type to go for upbeat stuff.
Kindred7 - I guess songs I connect to? Which genuinely recently have been kind of sad, but I like to throw the occasional upbeat one in there like "Look at her now" and "Good as hell" for the times I'm feeling more positive
Anas yeah omg I really like that one, I almost added it and may go ahead and do that
IMO Led Zeppelin is easily the best break up song band. Your time is gonna come is a personal fave of mine, it’s about cheating.
Here are some other songs from my ‘sad love songs’ playlist-
Here I go again - whitesnake
Bring it on home to me - Sam Cooke
Be alright - Dean Lewis
Grace is gone - Dave Matthews band
The first cut is the deepest - cat Stevens
Love hurts - Nazareth
Nothin compares 2u - Sienad Oconner
Littlest things - lily allen
lying eyes - eagles
Say something- great big world
Here comes my baby - the tremelos
Say hello wave goodbye - David grey
Yeah I mean, the break-up list is kind of structured like the beginning is denial and wanting to get back together, then it goes into hopelessness (like say something), then tentative acceptance, or an attempt at acceptance. Idk where I'm at now - of course I want her, but I'm sick of being broken up with/worrying about being broken up with - I don't want that uncertainty in my life anymore. I don't want to be with someone who is uncertain about their feelings for me. So yeah like I'd want her if it was the *HER* who was sure, but that hasn't been her for awhile.. so the playlist is just a MESS of emotions because the way I feel changes constantly. One mine I'm excited to explore my single life and the next I'm aching and missing her desperately, so I guess I just want the list to represent a rollar coaster
Sorry for the tangent but LOL yeah - I'll check it out <3
I totally get that teddybear, the playlist structure. I’ve been there way too many times. My sad playlist just keeps growing. It’s a lot of grieving. Don’t rush it, that’s the worst thing you can do. Let that playlist really seep in. I obsess over lyrics during breakups. It’s like they’re written in your soul. Sounds like a masterpiece for sure.
Sorry don’t mean to throw out random break up advice as every one is different and that logic may not apply. Like if you’re cheated on vs it’s just not gonna work vs something you can’t control like distance maybe vs toxic relationship etc., etc., etc.
