PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Spencer celebrated with Brenda and Peih-Gee having split up a giant alliance of Hali, Courtney, and Shii Ann. “We found the crack and we broke it,” Spencer said. “Now, all I need to do is win immunity, get rid of Courtney and Hali, and then it’s finale time,” he said. Peih-Gee and Brenda were still a bit precocious of Spencer. “He’s gonna win this game if he gets to the end,” Peih-Gee told Brenda. “You’re right,” Brenda said, “I just don’t know how we can keep flip flopping and justify a win.” Hali was upset, having been tricked by Spencer. “We can’t let that happen again,” Courtney said, “Or I’m gonna be seriously peeved dude.” At the immunity challenge, Hali knew that either her or Courtney had to win to have a chance. The challenge was a memory challenge, and fortunately, Hali brought all she could to the table and won it. Back at camp, Spencer, Peih-Gee, and Brenda discussed going after Courtney as the obvious. “Y’all better not pull anything,” Spencer said, “we are so close to the end.” Hali and Courtney knew their last hope would be to sway either Brenda or Peih-Gee. “I think Peih-Gee is a bigger gamer,” Courtney said, “I say we go for her first.” Courtney told Peih-Gee that she should flip and go after Spencer. “If you’re looking at me and Spencer, it would be really silly to keep Spencer,” Courtney said. Peih-Gee didn’t trust Courtney much from her time on Survivor: China, but knew that this was a no brainer. Brenda and Peih-Gee chatted before tribal, and Brenda told Peih-Gee that the best case scenario would be going to final three with Spencer and just trying to outplay him for the final challenge. “I just don’t want to give him that opportunity all the way at the end of the game,” Peih-Gee said. At tribal council, Spencer said he had faith in both Peih-Gee and Brenda to stay loyal. After the vote, Spencer and Brenda stuck with voting for Courtney, while Courtney and Hali voted for Spencer. Peih-Gee decided to flip and vote out Spencer, sealing his fate. Spencer was pissed, and felt like Peih-Gee betrayed him. “We had this game in our back pocket,” Spencer said, “And you ruined it.” Brenda was also upset, knowing she was headed into the finale with no true #1 ally, seeing that Peih-Gee was still wavering, and that Courtney and Hali were a tight unit. Courtney did say at the end “hey, at least it’s four girls in the end!” to which Hali and Peih-Gee both smiled, and Brenda reluctantly smirked along with.
