PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: With the new merged tribe, Rob felt good in voting with Spencer and made sure he was still on his good side. “I’ve got your back,” Spencer told Rob. Danielle and Brenda reunited with Eliza and Spencer and solidified their alliance. “I have Hali and Shii Ann on our side too,” Danielle said. Unfortunately for her, Shii Ann was already making moves against Danielle, pulling Michaela, Courtney, and Hali together. “The five of us have to go after Danielle,” Shii Ann said, “because she is coming for Michaela and Courtney.” Hali was a bit hesitant, seeing her ally turning against people so quickly. Rob and Peih-Gee made up, after Rob finally voted with Peih-Gee. “I hope we can put this behind us and that me, you, Courtney, and Michaela can go to the final four,” Rob said. Peih-Gee immediately ran to Spencer and told him that Rob mentioned a final four without Spencer in it. “Interesting,” Spencer said. Spencer was ready to target Rob, who seemed to not have any interest in working with Spencer in the long-term game. At the challenge, the contestants had to race through a maze carrying heavy sacks on their back. Spencer and Danielle seemed to be the two in the front of the pack, with Francesca, Rob, and Michaela close behind. Spencer managed to finish the maze first, winning individual immunity. Back at camp, Shii Ann told Courtney and Michaela to try and win over Rob’s vote. Courtney approached Rob about voting out Danielle, and he agreed. He then told Peih-Gee and Spencer the plan. “We’re 100% go ahead, and if we get Eliza and Francesca too,” Rob said, “we’re gold.” Little did Rob know that Peih-Gee and Spencer were ready to jump ship. Peih-Gee and Spencer talked to Francesca and Eliza and told them that Rob was trying to turn people on Danielle. “Why Danielle?” Eliza asked, to which Spencer had no idea. Little did Spencer know that this was Shii Ann’s plan. Eliza told Danielle, and Danielle was puzzled. “Fine, we go after Rob then,” she said. Danielle told Shii Ann that she wanted to go after Rob. Shii Ann nodded, but knew that her plan to blindside Danielle was already underway. “She’s gonna be shocked when she realizes that Hali and I turned on her,” Shii Ann said. At tribal council, Hali said that the tribe dynamics were really interesting with only two guys around. Rob said this was the first time he really didn’t feel vulnerable, as his long ended feud with Peih-Gee had been resolved. “Us voting together last week seemed to solidify our bond,” Rob said. Peih-Gee said that there was lots of game left to play. After the vote, nobody played an idol. Brenda and Danielle voted for Rob, much to Rob’s surprise, while Rob, Shii Ann, Hali, Courtney, and Michaela all voted for Danielle. Danielle knew votes were coming her way, but Shii Ann giggled knowing she had organized a Danielle blindside. The next two votes from Francesca and Eliza were for Rob, which surprised Rob. It was down to Spencer and Peih-Gee who, while they gave Rob their word, voted out Rob, sending him to the jury in a 6-5 vote. Hali was upset, knowing that she shouldn’t have trusted Shii Ann’s confidence, as she was now on the bottom. Shii Ann was equally surprised, and upset that Francesca and Eliza didn’t vote with them. “I thought you had them,” Shii Ann told Rob. “I thought I did,” Rob said, as he made his way out of tribal council. Peih-Gee and Spencer had shown their loyalty to Danielle, whereas Shii Ann and Hali showed that they weren’t on Danielle’s side. Danielle looked back at Shii Ann and nodded, knowing that Shii Ann had tried to flip. It was a mess, but Spencer came out of tribal as the last man standing.
