SURVIVOR: THIRD TIMES THE CHARM Episode 9

Nov 19, 2020 by SurvivorGames
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: With Stephen out, Rob knew that him and David were on their own. “The smart move would be to try and sway Spencer and Peih-Gee over to take out the flip floppers of Francesca and Eliza,” Rob said, “But Peih-Gee won’t work with me, and I don’t see Spencer working with me either.” David, however, immediately sold out Rob to Spencer. “Rob is the biggest threat here,” David said, “and I’m totally good to get rid of him at the next tribal if we lose.” Spencer appreciated David approaching him, but also knew that David was quick to sell out his allies. “Rob is a bigger threat for sure,” Spencer said, “but David is definitely someone to keep my eye on.” At the Nobag tribe, Shii Ann was still a bit distrusting of Danielle, and approached Michaela and Courtney. “Danielle tried making a four person alliance between Hali, Brenda, Danielle, and myself,” much to Michaela and Courtney’s surprise. “That girl isn’t outlasting me this time,” Courtney said. “The question is,” Shii Ann said, “do we take our shot next or go with the plan to get out Russell?” Michaela said to wait for the immunity challenge. At the immunity challenge, it was revealed that everyone would stand with a water bucket above their head, and one by one, would be eliminated if they dropped their hand. That’s right, it was individual immunity and only one person from each tribe would remain and get immunity as BOTH tribes would go to tribal council. In the first twenty minutes, everyone seemed comfortable. Then, Russell dropped out of nowhere. This caused all the girls on the Nobag tribe to look at one another and make the decision to start dropping. Hali dropped, with Shii Ann and Danielle right behind. Courtney, Brenda, and Michaela remained, and Courtney said “let the best woman win,” dropping, as Brenda dropped to give Michaela immunity. The Dangrayne tribe was shocked at how fast all of the Nobag tribe dropped. “Well I guess Russell is a goner,” Peih-Gee said. This caused her to lose her balance and fall, along with Francesca and David. Russell was crying, knowing his fate was probably up. Eliza was next to fall, leaving Spencer and Rob to fight it out. David wanted Rob to fall, otherwise he’d be the clear target. Spencer, however, was last to fall, and Rob won immunity. Back at the Nobag camp, Russell said that he knew he was a goner, and didn’t want any scheming. “Let’s just try to enjoy this sunset and this beach while we can,” he said. Shii Ann talked with Michaela and Courtney, and they all agreed to just wait till next week to make the move. “At least we have this ammunition we can use,” Courtney said. At tribal council, Russell was sent home in a unanimous vote, his vote going to Shii Ann. Russell was proud of the game he played, but just couldn’t get the numbers on his side. The six Nobag women were happy to make it as far as they did, and knew they were an unstoppable force of women. At the Dangrayne beach, Rob talked to David and asked what the move was. David said the best bet was to target Peih-Gee and Spencer and hope Eliza and Francesca would flip back over. Rob, however, talked to Spencer and found out that David was throwing out his name. “David is totally targeting you,” Spencer said. Rob was shocked, and knew that it was going to be David tonight, instead. David talked to Eliza and Francesca, asking them to flip on Peih-Gee or Spencer, but Eliza and Francesca both seemed a bit hesitant. At tribal council, Spencer called out David for wanting to flip on Rob. “As soon as Stephen left, David wants to target Rob. It was fishy!” Spencer said. David defended it, saying, “If Rob didn’t have immunity, he was the easiest person I could throw the blame on. I do think Spencer is running the show,” David said, “and he would be the person I vote out tonight if anyone’s with me.” Rob, however, stuck with Spencer, Francesca, Peih-Gee, and Eliza, and voted out David, who seemed wishy washy, in hopes of mending a bond of sorts with people like Spencer and Peih-Gee. David voted Spencer, but it didn’t matter, as he was sent out in 12th place. The Nobag and Dangrayne tribe were then merged to the “Lucky Charms” tribe, as this was their third chance and THIRD TIMES is THE CHARM.
