SURVIVOR: THIRD TIMES THE CHARM Episode 4

imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Peih-Gee was furious when she got back to camp. “I trusted you Rob,” Peih-Gee said. Peih-Gee pulled Michaela and Courtney aside and told them that Rob was no good, and he was playing everyone. “He’s setting himself up with three people he thinks are goats,” Peih-Gee said. “Rob can think I’m a goat,” Michaela said, “because I’ll just win final immunity and take him out at final three,” she said, as Courtney laughed. Peih-Gee knew she had the idol and hoped she could hold onto it as long as possible. At the Dangrayne tribe, Brenda continued feeling on the outs, and decided to talk to Spencer about striking up an alliance. “I think you’re smart, and loyal,” she told him. Spencer was happy, seeing as how he now had Gervase, Danielle, Eliza, and now Brenda all in the palm of his hand. Russell, meanwhile, was starting to be demanding at camp life, and Debbie was getting on Danielle’s nerves. “She just yaps all day, and doesn’t quit,” Danielle said. At the Nobag tribe, Fishbach told David that Randy, Troyzan, and Hali were a trio. “That’s interesting,” David said. “If we lose, do we go for Hali?” Stephen knew that Hali was probably the most strategic, but also knew that she didn’t have the best track record of going to the end. Francesca and Shii Ann bonded, seeing the different couplings and trios pairing off. “I think we need to try and win over David and Stephen,” Fran said, which Shii Ann agreed to. “They’re more strategic,” Shii-Ann said, “but I do think Randy and Hali are more expendable for challenges, and Troyzan irritates me.” Francesca talked to Stephen and David, saying how they wanted to team up with them, and David and Stephen saw how many good opportunities they had. “So we’re the swing votes,” David said. “Basically,” Fishbach said, as the two high fives. “For two people who couldn’t chop a coconut on day one of our seasons, we are certainly in a pretty good spot,” David said. At the challenge, the tribes had to dig through sand for some hooks. They’d then use those hooks to hook a few bags of balls, and then use the balls to complete a table maze. Right away, Troyzan and Stephen helped give Nobag a lead on the bag finding, while Danielle and Gervase struggled, as did Phillip and Michaela. The hooks were fairly easy for all three tribes, but it came down to the table maze, with David, Eliza, and Rob on the mazes. David finished first, winning immunity, with Rob shortly behind. Eliza was pissed, meaning Dangrayne would go to tribal. At camp, Gervase was mad that Eliza lost and suggested to Danielle and Spencer that Eliza would go, but Spencer knew they needed Eliza’s number. “Things are already crumbling within the alliance,” Spencer said, “and I need to keep everyone on the same page, or Gervase may have to go.” Spencer suggested going after Russell Swan, seeing as how he was demanding and not the right leader for the group. “I think we could still use Russell for strength,” Gervase said, and Danielle chimed in, “how about Debbie?” Nobody seemed to have an issue with it, and Danielle said, “she’s not strong, she’s Russell’s right hand lady, and she isn’t pleasant at camp.” Spencer told Brenda the plan. “I think Debbie would be better to keep around as a wild card, no?” Brenda asked, but Spencer said that he had Danielle, Gervase, and Eliza on his side, and Russell was too strong to take out. Brenda was worried that this four person alliance would put her as the 5th in the alliance, and she entertained the idea of telling Russell and Debbie. Russell and Debbie didn’t really know what to expect, and Russell talked to Gervase. Gervase told Russell to vote for Eliza, and Russell told Debbie. “It seems like Eliza is the boot,” Russell said. Debbie was happy, seeing Eliza as useless on the tribe. At tribal council, Russell said that keeping the tribe strong was a priority, and unfortunately, Eliza dropped the ball for the team. Gervase said that Eliza’s performance was abysmal, but Eliza argued that it was a team effort, and the criticism should start with the leader of the tribe. “I do think Russell is vital in the operations of the tribe,” Brenda said, “and we need to win challenges.” After the voting, Eliza was worried that the votes would flip onto her. Debbie and Russell voted for Eliza, but the rest of the votes were for Debbie, shocking Debbie and sending her out. “I hope you all suck it,” Debbie said on her way out, semi-jokingly. Russell was upset, knowing he had been blindsided but still had to endure this tribe.
