PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: At camp, Brendan thanked both Ronnie and Angela for keeping him in. Ronnie pulled aside Angela to make sure they were still good to go to final two, and Angela said that she would play it by ear. This caused concern for Ronnie. Ronnie talked to Brendan, “Did she promise you a final two?” he asked. Brendan responded saying that he and Angela had gotten closer the past few votes, and were planning on taking each other to the end. Ronnie couldn’t believe it. “She told me the same thing up till now,” Ronnie told Brendan. Brendan knew Angela and Ronnie were close, but realized that she was in final twos with both of them. “At this point, I’d be willing to take you over her,” Ronnie told Brendan, “just let us duke it out.” At the immunity challenge, Angela knew that she had a final two deal with both boys, but wanted to still keep up her immunity streak for the sake of bragging rights. Brendan knew that Ronnie was mad at Angela, but still wanted to win to ensure his safety, while Ronnie wanted to beat Angela and hold all the power. The challenge was balancing a ball on a plank. Ronnie was out immediately, and was upset he dropped so soon. Brendan and Angela both struggled, and dropped around the same time, but Brendan’s ball hit the floor first. Angela won ANOTHER immunity, and kept up her streak. At camp, Angela knew that she was in a pressuring situation, knowing she’d hurt someone’s feelings. Brendan told Angela that Ronnie called her out for having two final two deals, and was planning on getting revenge on Angela should she have lost. Angela was shocked and went to Ronnie. Ronnie said that he was hurt that she had made a final two deal with Brendan. “I looked out for you in this merge once Tijuana was gone,” Ronnie told Angela, “and I hate how you would take Brendan over me.” Angela asked him if he was going to vote her out should he win? “I don’t think I would’ve,” Ronnie said. At tribal council, Angela admitted to making final two deals with both guys. “Ronnie is a good long-term ally, but he was so mad that he mentioned voting me out,” Angela said, to which Ronnie defended that he wouldn’t have done that. Brendan said that Ronnie said those exact words. “Brendan is from my original season, and played a respectful game,” Angela said, “which is why I’d love to go to the end with him. But my loyalty is with Ronnie, which makes it so difficult.” Angela placed her final vote. She voted for Ronnie, which shocked both Brendan and Ronnie. “I didn’t expect her to actually do that,” Brendan said to the jury. Ronnie was upset and asked “why Angela?” and Angela responded, “I just worry that if you had won immunity, I’d be joining the jury instead of Brendan.” Ronnie was upset, and became the final member of the jury.
