SURVIVOR: RANDOMIZED Episode 13

May 12, 2020 by SurvivorGames
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Angela was by herself, with only Ronnie as an ally, and the last remaining girl on the tribe. She immediately talked to Ronnie back at camp, who suggested that they wait and see what happens with immunity and then hopefully sway either Devon or Gavin. “Devon stirred the pot with hiding the ‘no advantages’ message, whereas Gavin almost dug his grave targeting Brendan,” Ronnie said, “we could easily get Gavin or Devon to flip and vote out Brendan next vote.” Brendan grouped up with Devon, Gavin, and Chris and made sure they were all on board to go for Angela, with Ronnie as a backup plan. “I’m totally down for that,” Gavin said, but secretly, he knew this was probably the opportunity to finally blindside his alliance. “I have a much better shot beating outsiders like Ronnie and Angela than I do the leader, Brendan, or the golden boy, Devon,” Gavin said. At the immunity challenge, Angela knew it was do or die for her and Ronnie. The challenge involved stacking puzzle blocks to make a card tower that reached a certain height. Right away, Devon took off taking the lead, with Ronnie and Gavin slightly behind. Chris and Brendan both struggled from the get-go, and Angela went slow and steady. Ronnie and Gavin kept falling, and Devon seemed to be the clear winner. Upon putting his last piece on, Devon realized his tower was too short and he’d need to re-organize the top. Angela was able to sneak by and clinch the win, surpassing everyone. At camp, Angela cried tears of relief for winning immunity. Ronnie knew he was in danger, and talked to Gavin. “You wanted to flip on Brendan once, would you be willing to again?” he asked Gavin. Gavin said he wanted to make that move. Ronnie suggested roping in Devon too, but Gavin said it would probably be easier to get Chris on board. Gavin talked to Chris and said that this was the chance to get out Brendan, the biggest jury threat. “If we can get out Brendan now, and Devon next, we’re the two most likable guys headed into the final four,” Gavin told Chris. “But both of them are more likable than us, which is why we have to get them out.” Chris didn’t know if this was the right move, but pretended to be on board. Chris went back to tell Brendan and Devon that Gavin was flipping on them. “He tried to get me on board,” Chris said, “but I have no interest in working with Ronnie and Angela to the end, so I’m 100% with you guys.” Devon couldn’t believe Gavin would try to flip on Brendan again, and Brendan said that he’d unfortunately have to go after Gavin. “We have to vote for Gavin, sending him a message,” Brendan said, “and once there’s a tie vote, we swing Ronnie over and tell him to vote out Gavin so he won’t pick rocks.” Devon thought that they should tell Ronnie beforehand, but Brendan wanted Gavin to learn the gravity of his actions and not have time to scramble. At tribal council, Gavin said that there was an easy vote-off of Ronnie, but things could always switch up by some quick switch. Brendan said that he didn’t expect it to be any crazy vote, as everyone should stay truthful and honest. After the vote, Brendan received three votes (from Gavin, Ronnie, and Angela), but a counter-attack was made and Gavin received the next three votes from Brendan. Devon, and Chris. Gavin was shocked. “Really Chris? Aw damn,” Gavin said. “Be careful who you talk to, Gavin,” Chris said. It was a tie, and before the tie, Brendan said, “if you vote with us, Ronnie, we’ll guarantee you final four.” Ronnie whispered to Angela, and Gavin just prayed that Ronnie wouldn’t flip. “You don’t want to go to rocks Ronnie,” Devon told him. At the revote, things were tense. Chris and Devon still voted for Gavin, while Angela voted for Brendan. Ronnie’s vote was the decider, but he kept it with Brendan, and voted for him. It was ANOTHER tie. “Well looks like we’re safe,” Gavin said, laughing to Brendan. “It’s not funny, dude,” Brendan said. This meant that Devon, Chris, and Ronnie would have to draw rocks. “I hope you get sent out Ronnie,” Chris said, “you had the option to flip.” In the count of three, all three revealed their rocks. Two white rocks, one black rock, the black rock sending that person home. 3. 2. 1…Devon’s rock was revealed as the black rock, and was going home. Devon was so annoyed. “Gavin, you made the wrong move,” Devon said. “Clearly not,” Gavin said. Gavin was happy that he survived the vote, and Brendan was incredibly nervous, seeing that Ronnie and Gavin both survived tribal, and he lost his best ally in Devon.
