PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The medical team was called to the Ostriches camp after Jamie suffered a bad fall and slid, creating a very bad wound on his knee. The medical team stitched him up and said they’d check on him in a few days. At the Tigers camp, Kenny and Michele were upset that the group all voted Willard. “As much as it was nice to be unified,” Kenny said, “I wish we could’ve voted Tyler out sooner rather than later.” Tyler told T-Bird and Jill that he felt he was next to go, and Michele and Kenny were getting super close. T-Bird thought it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to go after Kenny next, seeing as he was a huge strategist. At the Ostrich camp, Jamie wanted to continue helping around camp, even when Brendan advised against it. This caused Jamie to get mad at Brendan. “You’re the camp leader but you can’t let people work?” Jamie screamed. Brendan was confused, seeing as how he was looking out for Jamie and his knee. “It’s just a knee injury, I’ll be fine,” Jamie said, “I don’t see why everyone is giving me such a hard time about it.” While the conflict was going on, Gavin decided he’d continue his apology tour and talk to Tijuana and Ronnie. “It was never my intention to throw you guys under the bus,” Gavin said, “I just really didn’t think one person—Brendan—should’ve held all the power and say in the tribe, and felt like John was the guy to challenge it.” Tijuana was upset, but accepted his apology anyway, knowing they had to be strong for the next immunity. At the challenge, Jamie sat out due to his knee, while the Tigers and Ostriches battled in a Survivor soccer game. In a blowout, the Ostriches scored 5 goals to the Tigers’ 0. Before going back to camp, medical checked out Jamie’s knee one more time and saw that he wasn’t resting it, further putting himself in danger. Jamie was pulled from the game seeing as it was only getting more infected. Back at camp, Brendan felt bad, but knew that he did all he could to prevent it. At the Tigers camp, Jill, T-Bird, and Tyler agreed to go after Kenny and needed Angela’s vote. T-Bird told Angela that they wanted to go for Kenny. Angela knew that Kenny and Michelle wanted Tyler out, so she was conflicted. Angela told Michelle that T-Bird wanted to vote out Kenny, and Michelle was furious. “Why would she do that? We could take out Tyler 5-1,” Michelle said. Michelle told Kenny that T-Bird wanted him out, and Kenny said that he’d be fine going after T-Bird. “At this point, I don’t think Jill will turn on T, so we might actually need Tyler as a vote,” Kenny said. Michelle agreed. Michelle talked to Tyler and told her that the original plan was to vote Tyler, but she, Kenny, and Angela wanted to use him to vote out T-Bird. Tyler was shocked, but also knew that this was his chance to find a way into a solid majority alliance. “I love Jill and T-Bird and I have gotten much closer, but this could be a way of making a move and having an in. If I force a tie between Kenny and T-Bird, it could backfire,” Tyler said. At tribal council, Tyler spoke about how it would seem that him and Kenny were on the outs, but he hoped for a little glimmer to hold onto. Kenny was hoping that the girls would begin turning on each other at some point. T-Bird said that it was a clear vote, considering who was closest on the tribe. At the vote, Michelle and Kenny voted for T-Bird, while T-Bird and Jill voted for Kenny. Angela also voted for T-Bird, surprising T-Bird. Last vote was from Tyler for…Teresa “T-Bird” Cooper. T-Bird was shocked, and Jill was equally surprised. Tyler knew this was a million dollar vote, and had to see how it would play out. The Tiger tribe was informed that the Ostriches had lost Jamie, so the tribes were now merging. Seeing this as a brand new start, Jill knew she wasn’t completely on the bottom, and Brendan was excited to take his leadership to a broader level.
