SURVIVOR: RIVALS Finale Part 4 (Reunion Show)

Apr 17, 2020 by SurvivorGames
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The jury got to address Abi and Angelina. Francesca was first, and told the jury that Abi had the most to overcome in the game. “Abi was smaller, a villain, underestimated,” Fran said, “and she was able to outlast everyone here, not getting a single vote, and making big moves when she needed to!” She begged the jury to award the person who played the most seamless game. Corinne addressed Angelina saying that backstabbing Terry in the last minute was something she couldn’t respect, and she’d taken the easy way out picking Abi, who was worthless, to go to the final. She then told Abi that she had trouble voting for her because Abi just lazily sat around and didn’t make any moves. Russell was next, and told Abi that he underestimated her, but still felt like she did nothing strategic. Abi defended herself, saying that she aligned with people who were always going to be bigger targets, like Francesca, Sugar, and Russell. “Keep in mind,” Abi said, “NaOnka and I were on the outs of the second vote, and I had to fight to find a crack in alliances. Aligning with you always ensured that I was never going to be the primary target.” Fabio was next and asked Angelina why someone who was already voted out deserved the money, and Angelina said “It’s about what I did when I was in the game, and in the game, I played as hard as I could and only got voted out because someone had an idol.” Abi said, “I found an idol too! I was the only person other than Alison this season to do so.” Fabio smiled and sat down. Colby was next and asked Abi why she had such a negative attitude, and Abi said that she didn’t have a negative attitude, and was simply just an open book. “I was honest and real, and didn’t put on a show for the jury the way Angelina has and still is,” Abi said. Angelina glared at the jury, to which Alison shrugged and laughed. Chris was next and asked Abi if she played her idol to make fun of Chris, knowing playing it would ensure Chris’ elimination. Abi apologized and said, “If I had known that Alison definitely voted for you, I may not have played it, but there was a possibility Alison could’ve voted for me, and I had to ensure my safety.” Chris then asked if Angelina got lucky on Redemption or earned all of her wins. Angelina said she absolutely earned them, and didn’t respect Chris asking the question. “This is for a million dollars, Angelina,” Chris argued, and Angelina said, “I won fair and square.” Alison went next and asked why Abi flipped on her. “I made a deal with Terry in the challenge that I wouldn’t vote for him if he gave me immunity, and I wanted to honor that deal,” Abi said. Alison asked if she regrets the decision, and Abi said, “If Terry had won final immunity, and I had been sent home, yes. But seeing that I’m sitting here, I can’t regret it, because it was the difference of me sitting here, or sitting in third place next to you and Sugar.” Alison asked Angelina why she deserved a vote from her Rival, in a game of rivals. Angelina said, “I think you have to respect that I came back and was the deciding vote in getting you out, and I think it’s fitting payback and a full circle if you give me your vote.” Alison corrected her saying, “It was Abi who was the deciding vote, not you.” Angelina said that she could’ve easily stuck with Alison to amend the divide, but ultimately felt like the only satisfying play was to vote out her rival. Sugar was next and asked Abi why she flipped on Sugar in the final four, and Abi said that she didn’t think Sugar could win a fire making challenge, so she didn’t even want to risk it, because voting against Angelina and Terry would put her even further on the outs. “We’ve gotta hold a bit of forgiveness in our hearts, and I understand that it’s a game, and I’m glad I was able to get you as far as you did, and I hope you win,” Sugar said. Terry was next and asked Angelina why she cut him in the end. Angelina said that it was not personal, and she would’ve had an easier job beating Abi in the end. “Why were you so quick to say ‘no strategizing’ back at camp when we had been working together for so long?” Terry asked. Angelina said, “I just didn’t want to risk showing any of my gameplan.” Abi chimed in saying, “Angelina wanted me to act super nervous and surprised so the jury respected her move more, but I fully knew you were going home Terry.” Angelina backfired saying, “that is not true,” and Abi said, “I swear on everything in this game that she wanted it to look like a blindside, and if I had known she was pandering for a jury vote, I would’ve told you earlier.” Terry respected Abi’s truthful answer, and asked Abi who she would’ve taken if she had won final immunity. Abi said that she would’ve taken Angelina for the same reason, but would’ve been upfront and honest with Terry.

In the end, the voting turned out like this:

Francesca- Abi
Corinne- Angelina
Russell- Abi
Fabio- Abi
Colby- Angelina
Chris- Abi

Terry- Abi

NEXT SEASON PREVIEW: I want to go back to basics with SurvivorGames’ next season. No themes, no idols, no advantages, no tribe swaps, no redemption island or edge of extinction. But what cast could fill the task of competing in this back to basics concept…I thought…Why subject the cast to Type A, or Type B, or Old School New School, Rivals or Duos?…instead, I simply conjured up a cast RANDOMLY from Random.org and was able to generate twenty names to make up this cast. That’s right. From all 40 seasons, big threats, small threats. Men, women, old, young. We have them all. We’re going back to basics with a completely random cast…this is SURVIVOR: RANDOMIZED. The cast will be announced later, where you will see what Random.org was able to come up with.
