PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: At the next Redemption Island battle, Corinne and Russell had to place domino blocks on a slanted hill, and then knock them down, attempting to make all of the dominos fall, releasing a ball, and raising the flag of safety. This was the challenge Russell lost on Redemption island, and he wanted to redeem himself. Corinne was off to an early lead, placing more dominos quickly than Russell. Russell had begun to catch some steam, while Corinne attempted her domino effect. It was unsuccessful. While Corinne began trying to fix her errors, Russell gave his domino effect a go, and won the challenge! Corinne was the second juror. At camp, Angelina questioned Alison, asking if she voted for her. Alison said that she did, and did it only as a safety in case Russell had an idol. Angelina couldn’t believe it, and told Terry, Colby, and Chris that Alison needed to go next. Alison showed Fabio her idol, telling him that she could keep them safe, but they had to look for another one. The two went off into the jungle to see if there was another idol out there, since they had been merged after all. Fabio told Alison to look inside a small hole on the bottom of a tree trunk, and Alison was able to find her second idol with it. Alison and Fabio hid their idols in a spot by the beach for later. Sugar hoped that she could lay low with all this drama going around, and talked to Abi, hoping to reconcile their bond. Abi agreed to working with Sugar, knowing that they were the next big threats after Fabio and Alison were gone. At the immunity challenge, it was revealed that the person who LOST the immunity challenge would be sent right to Redemption Island. The pressure was on, as each castaway had to stand balancing a ball on a disk as they balanced with one foot on a tiny platform. Immediately, Angelina, Abi, and Sugar all struggled staying on balance, but in a shocking turn of events, Fabio’s ball dropped out of nowhere. Shortly after, Angelina, Abi, and Sugar lost their balance. Fabio cried, not knowing what happened, and figured he just got distracted and didn’t focus hard enough. Fabio made his way to Redemption Island, upset that his journey was cut short in a blink. The challenge continued, with Colby and Chris dropping, leaving it between Alison and Terry. Alison wanted to win, not only to avenge her best friend Fabio, but to keep her own game alive and not have to play one of her idols. Alison couldn’t hang in it, and Terry won the immunity. Back at camp, Alison knew she was okay, since she had two idols, but she needed to make sure she got the right person out at tribal, assuming all were voting for her. Angelina, Terry, and Chris met, and Angelina said “it should be obvious, Alison right?” Terry was worried that she found an idol, and recommended splitting the vote and putting some on Sugar. Angelina didn’t want Sugar to feel burned, as she’d be a loyal number later down the line. “What about Abi?” she said. Chris knew that Abi was a firecracker, and it would be better not to piss her off. “We have to go through Alison’s bag and make sure she doesn’t have an idol,” Angelina said. Angelina went to Alison’s bag and hunted through it, seeing no idol. This was because Alison’s two idols were buried in the sand somewhere. Angelina told her alliance that Alison didn’t have the idol, and she was 100% sure. Angelina told Sugar and Abi that Alison was the odd person out. Not wanting to rock the boat, Sugar and Abi agreed. Terry and Chris talked to Colby, and Colby was also okay with voting for her. Alison dug up one of her idols right before tribal. At tribal council, Alison put on some tears, saying that she had the worst day, between losing Fabio and losing immunity. “I made a mistake voting for Angelina last week, and I deserve to pay for it,” Alison said. Angelina smiled, knowing she was about to send her rival packing. Before the votes were read, Alison stood up saying “I’m pretty good at putting on tears.” Abi and Sugar ate it all up, and Angelina looked annoyed as ever. Alison played one of her idols, and the votes were about to be read. Abi considered playing her idol, but felt secure that Alison didn’t vote for her. Vote after vote, Alison’s name came out of the urn, but didn’t count. All six of the other castaways voted for Alison, to which Terry muttered “we should’ve split the vote.” Alison’s vote was for…Angelina. Alison had single-handedly sent her rival to redemption island, and Terry and Chris saw their other third walk out of tribal.
