PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: At the sixth Redemption Island duel, Jerri, Rob, and Aras had to compete in an endurance challenge involving keeping themselves balanced on a teetering plank holding a ball on a disk. All three took it very seriously, going on for about twenty minutes before Aras started to wobble. This threw off a bit of Jerri’s concentration as well, while Rob stayed as focused as possible. Aras lost his balance and fell, upset that he couldn’t do any better. Jerri’s ball started to waver, in which Rob started to wobble a bit. Jerri’s ball fell off her disk before Rob wobbled too much, giving Rob his first Redemption win. Jerri was devastated, knowing how hard she worked in the past few duels, as she threw her buff in the urn, bidding farewell to the season. At the Enemies camp, Colby was relieved to be safe, but knew that Corinne and Chris were probably tight and hoped for a challenge win. On the Foes tribe, Angelina decided to finally confront Russell and ask him why he lied about Dom having an idol. “I need you in the game Angelina,” Russell said, “and I needed you to trust me more than Domenick.” This caused Angelina to get angry and defensive. Fabio and Alison watched from afar, seeing the bickering go down, and talked to Abi. “They’re gonna take each other out,” Alison said, “so I think the three of us could do pretty well if we stuck together.” Abi agreed, as did Fabio. “I really don’t like Abi,” Fabio said, “but this Russell and Angelina drama is probably the best bet for us, and working with Abi seems like the smartest move.” At the Nemeses camp, Domenick was mad at Sugar, saying that she played him like a fool. Sugar shrugged it off, knowing that she now had some power in the game. Domenick pulled Francesca aside and asked her, “Would you be willing to side with me if we go to tribal and vote out Sugar?” Francesca responded saying, “If you can get Terry on board, I’d much rather work with you two than Sugar.” Dom talked to Terry. Terry said it was no hard feelings, and he wanted to just keep the tribe strong. “What Sugar pulled was a good short-term move, but at what cost?” Terry asked Dom. “It definitely screws her long-term game, that’s for sure,” Domenick answered. At the immunity challenge, the tribes had to compete in an eating competition. The Foes put up Fabio, Russell, and Angelina, the Nemeses put up Domenick, Terry, and Francesca, and the Enemies had their whole tribe competing. First was Fabio, Corinne, and Domenick eating a slug. Domenick was first, followed by Fabio. One point each for Nemeses and Foes. Next was Russell, Terry, and Chris eating a whole baby bird egg. Chris was first, followed by Russell, making it 2 for the Foes, 1 Enemies, and 1 Nemeses. Third was Angelina, Francesca, and Colby eating a chicken heart. Francesca finished right away, and Colby was shortly behind her, making it 2-2-2. In a tiebreaker challenge, the best of each tribe (Fabio, Chris, and Francesca) were to drink a whole cup of pig’s blood. Fabio finished first, giving the Foes immunity, and Francesca beat out Chris in a photo finish for the Nemeses. At the Enemies camp, Corinne and Chris settled on Colby, but Colby had other intentions. Colby pulled aside Chris and said that keeping Corinne was dangerous. “She’s a villain, she knows how to play this game hard. Now’s our chance to get rid of her,” Colby said. Chris heard his argument, but didn’t really know which side was better. At tribal council, Corinne said that this was the most secure vote of the season. Chris said that Colby and Corinne were two worthy opponents, but his mind had been made up. After the vote, nobody played an idol. Colby and Corinne voted for each other, and it was down to Chris’ vote. Chris voted with the alliance and voted out Colby, sending him to redemption.
