PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: At the fourth Redemption Island battle, Jerri and RC had to stack colored building blocks into a rotating four piece puzzle. RC got a head start, stacking quicker than Jerri, but got stumped at the top when two of her colors matched on one side. Jerri was slower, but was able to get the right order of colors and won her second Redemption Island battle in a row, sending RC home for good. The tribes swapped. On the new Foes tribe, Angelina and Alison talked. Alison told Angelina that she wanted to put the rivalry behind them, although Alison had no intention of working with her. “At this point,” Alison said, “Fabio and I are in the minority numbers wise, but I’m sure Russell is desperate.” Alison pulled aside Russell and said that she wanted to find a crack in the other tribe, and asked if he was in with Abi and Angelina. “I do trust Angelina, haven’t really talked much with Abi,” Russell said. Knowing that Russell was tighter with Angelina, Alison knew that she didn’t want to work with him, and went to plan B. She asked Abi if she wanted to work with her and Fabio. Abi said that she was a free agent and willing to go against Russell if need be. At the new Enemies camp, Rob felt good about Corinne and Chris and knew that in the next vote, they should take out Colby or Margaret. “I’d much rather keep Colby because he’s more valuable in challenges,” Rob said. Colby and Margaret knew they were probably on the outs and Colby said he was going to try to pull in Rob. “We are both Old School players and we have big targets,” Colby said, “I wanna work with you,” he told Rob. Rob said he’d be willing to entertain the idea, but he wanted to keep Corinne and Chris tight with them, so Colby would have to be willing to get rid of Margaret. Colby feared this would happen, and instead hoped to win the challenge so he wouldn’t have to make the decision. At the new Nemeses camp, Terry and Aras met on the beach. “In a season of rivals,” Aras said, “it would be really cool to see the rivals come together.” Terry was completely on board with working with Aras. “Keep your enemies closer,” Terry said jokingly. Francesca approached Sugar and Domenick about Terry and Aras. “They don’t seem like rivals to me,” Francesca said. Sugar was worried that Terry and Aras had patched up their rivalry and would be dangerous going forward. At the immunity challenge, the teams had to slide down a slip and slide retrieving keys that they would use to unlock puzzle pieces and assemble the same puzzle that Jerri and RC had made in the redemption challenge. Right away, the Foes tribe was quick in getting their keys, with the Enemies short behind. Nemeses were struggling thanks to Francesca and Sugar slowing the tribe down. The Enemies were first in unlocking their boxes, and Rob and Colby started on the puzzle. The Nemeses were able to get to the puzzle last, but Domenick and Aras began making quick work of the puzzle. Alison and Angelina were on the puzzle for the Foes, and were hoping that they could work together rather than separately. Tensions were a bit high for the Foes. Domenick and Aras were miraculously fast and finished the puzzle first, giving Nemeses immunity. Rob and Colby were trying their best, but Angelina and Alison were able to work together and get it done first, sending Enemies to tribal council. Angelina was happy that she and Alison had put their rivalry behind them, but Alison was still not sure if Angelina was someone she wanted to work with down the line. At the Enemies camp, Rob told Colby to vote out Margaret, as she was the weakest. Colby didn’t know what to do, as going against Rob was a death sentence, but he didn’t want to do that to Margaret. Colby decided to go to Chris and ask if he’d be willing to do a mens alliance and instead of going for Margaret, an easy number, they’d go for Corinne, who was a much more dangerous player. Chris saw this option, but felt like it was more important to stay true to his older alliance. Chris told Rob that Colby wanted Corinne out, and Rob was incredibly disappointed. “Colby thinks he’s slick,” Rob said, “but Chris is loyal and told me everything I need.” At tribal council, Rob called Colby out for conspiring against Corinne. Colby said that he just didn’t have the heart to vote out Margaret. Corinne said that she obviously wanted Colby out, but for the challenges, Margaret was weaker, so it was a toss up. After the votes were read, nobody spoke up with an idol. Margaret and Colby voted for Corinne, as a last ditch effort, but Rob, Corinne, and Chris stuck with the plan to get rid of Margaret, and Margaret was sent to Redemption Island. “Colby, you better watch out,” said Corinne, “your challenge strength was your saving grace.”
