PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: With Phillip voted out, Russell was able to get to work and start playing the game. He immediately pulled aside Margaret, Sugar, Abi, and NaOnka. “We’re the underdogs,” Russell said, “we have to stick together because the tribe is gonna want to vote us out. Angelina and Dom are tight, and Aras and Colby are tight. The five of us can take out those four.” Margaret didn’t like how quick Russell was to start commanding orders, and approached Aras and Colby. “I like you two, and you both play a similar game to me, which is Old School,” she told them. Colby was happy to get another ally on his side, as he felt like he was on the outs of the tribe after the Phillip vote. Abi and NaOnka both bonded because they felt underestimated in their seasons. Abi wanted to prove that she wasn’t just the annoying weaker girl, and she had some serious gameplay potential. She went searching for an idol, and found a clue that it was at the challenge under the puzzle platform. At the Foes tribe, everyone seemed to bond pretty well. “It’s a well oiled machine,” Rob said, “everyone is happy and ready to win a challenge.” Judd, meanwhile, had other plans in mind, and tried to rally up Alison, Chris, RC, and Fabio. Judd told them, “Francesca, Terry, and Corinne have played twice, Jerri has played three times, and Rob has played five and even WON the game. We need to go against them as the one-timers.” Alison already sensed the awkwardness, knowing that Fabio, a winner, was standing right by them. Fabio pulled aside Alison and said “Does he not realize that I won too? Does this mean I’m the odd man out when it comes down to five?” Alison went to RC and Chris and said that maybe Judd’s plan was a good idea, but Fabio wasn’t going to be on board since Judd mentioned targeting Rob, who was a winner. “If we don’t have Fabio, we can’t get any numbers to do anything,” RC said. Alison, knowing that this five-some probably wouldn’t stick together, went to search for an idol, and she got the same clue that there was an idol under her puzzle platform. At the challenge, the teams wanted to keep their tribes in tact, while Abi and Alison were looking for idols. The challenge was a team obstacle course ending in a simple table puzzle maze. Alison volunteered to do the puzzle, in hopes of being close enough to get the idol. On the Enemies tribe, Abi volunteered to do the puzzle, but the tribe felt safer with Domenick on the puzzle. Abi was annoyed, knowing it would be tough to get the idol. At the challenge, both teams were neck and neck and it came down to Alison and Dom on the puzzle. Alison’s mind was wandering to the idol, and lost focus, as Dom clinched the win for the Enemies. Abi, while the tribe was celebrating, went to get the idol and was able to snag it miraculously, while Alison was able to pocket it pretty easily, being on the platform. Both had their idols. Back at the Foes camp, Fabio approached Rob saying that Judd was trying to target the multiple-season players, and that he would join Rob, Fran, Corinne, Terry, and Jerri in voting for Judd. Rob knew the only problem was that it would be hard to get Francesca to work with him. Rob sat down with Francesca and said that there could be a way where all the multiple-season players could be safe, but she would have to trust them. “It’s hard to trust you because you guys voted me out my first season,” she told Rob, “but I really want to be safe.” Rob told Francesca he’d even let it be her move, “you can tell Corinne, Jerri, and Terry, and I think I can get Fabio,” he told her. Francesca approached Corinne, Jerri, and Terry and said that Judd was stirring the pot and they could team up with Fabio and Rob to vote him out. “There’s four of us,” Corinne said, “I’d love to just go after Rob.” Terry wasn’t sure if losing Rob this early would be detrimental to the tribe’s strength. “We can unite for this one vote and deal with Rob later,” Terry said. Jerri tried to stay out of the drama, knowing that laying low was best for her threat level. Alison, RC, and Chris wondered if Fabio was worth trying to pull in to vote with Judd, or if they should just vote out Judd. “Judd has a point,” Chris said, “they’re all more dangerous threats.” Chris tried talking to Fabio and seeing if he’d be willing to still vote with him, RC, Alison, and Judd, and Fabio said it would be very difficult, and he couldn’t work with someone who was targeting people for being winners. At tribal council, Rob said he felt the immense pressure of being a five-time player, and that he knew other people who played multiple times probably also felt this way. Fabio said he was in an interesting spot because he had won once, but still had only played once, so he didn’t know where his threat level was within the tribe. When the votes were revealed, Rob received one vote, while Judd received the rest, with Alison, RC, and Chris flipping on him. “Dang, I hope to see each and everyone of you at Redemption,” Judd said. Judd made his way to redemption island.
