PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The windy morning after Dylan’s elimination, Andrea had been feeling alone, knowing she was basically on her own. She decided to talk to Cirie and Brenda and pitch to them the idea of going against Nemo, Kirby, and Abe since they were obviously all tighter than anyone else, as Kirby had played two whole idols on himself and Abe. “Kirby has no more idols left, now might be the time to strike,” Andrea said. Brenda, however, was thinking the same thing about Andrea, knowing she had basically played her last idol too. As Andrea began searching for another idol, she heard a scream come from the jungle. She ran, to find Brenda and Cirie running also. The wind had knocked some coconuts off the trees and left large branches on the ground. Kirby had called the three ladies over, discovering that Abraham had been knocked in the head by a coconut, and Nemo had been crushed by a branch. After a medic came in to examine both, the medic cleared Abe, saying it was just a little bump, but claimed that Nemo’s injury was too severe to go further with, and he’d need immediate medical attention. Nemo said his goodbyes to the tribe, knowing he’d be able to return to the jury once he healed a bit, but knew his injuries were too risky, especially given the size of the tree branch. On the way out, he snuck Abe his immunity idol he had gotten, knowing it would go to use for the right person, and he assumed Abe would be next on the target list. At the immunity challenge, the final six turned five had to suspend their legs in the air holding a clay pot between their feet. If their pot fell or their legs hit the ground, they were out. Kirby was out first, followed by Cirie. Abe’s head was killing him with a severe migraine, but he wanted to earn his way into the final five. Andrea was next out, frustrating her, as she knew she was a target. It came down to Abe and Brenda, and Brenda felt like her name was still under the radar, and maybe she could let Abe take it and try to turn Kirby and Andrea against each other as the targets. She let go with her feet, giving Abe the win. Back at camp, Brenda and Cirie debated whether they should go for Kirby or Andrea. “Every week, I’ve been saying Andrea,” Brenda said, “but Kirby played two idols last week and his jury is full of people who like him and Abe. Andrea may not be as threatening as we thought.” Cirie was shocked that Brenda was saying this, but was more than happy to vote out Kirby. At the tribal council, Abe said that he was proud he won the challenge, and it would be tough to see someone go this late in the game. Andrea said that she felt like this was going to be the week her luck ran out, but she was hoping by some gleam of hope that she could stay this week. Brenda smirked, knowing that Andrea wasn’t the target after all. After the votes were cast, Abe stood up. “Kirby played two idols last week, one for me, and one for him. This week, I’m repaying the favor.” Abe pulled out one idol, “this first idol is from Nemo, who handed it to me on his way out, and I want this to go to Kirby to fulfill our alliance’s goal.” He then pulled out one more, “this one is the one I found for myself way earlier in the game. But since this is the last week to play it and I have immunity…” Abe then handed it to Cirie, who began tearing up. “In case Andrea has an idol, I don’t want Cirie to go out like Game Changers. I want her to be able to play an idol at one of the final tribals.” Cirie played the idol, knowing she was safe, but happy she got to use it. Brenda was a bit stressed, hoping Abe and Kirby still voted for Andrea, not her. Andrea knew the hope for her was little. The first three votes were for Kirby, did not count. The next two (Kirby and Abe’s) came for Andrea, and Andrea was sent packing as the seventh member of the jury. It was announced that Nemo would return to be part of the jury next week as he was recovering well.
