PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After seeing everyone flip on her, Kass was out for revenge…or chaos. Kelley approached her and said that they had to take out Natalie or Angelina next, and Kass said that she was willing to turn on them as easily as they turned on her. Angelina had pulled Kelley aside, telling her that Kass would win the game if she made it to the end, so they needed to take a shot at her whatever chance they could get, especially now that idols were no longer in play. Kelley was excited to finally be in a place of power, something she hadn’t had until before the merge. “I had so much control in the pre-merge, dictating this game and have lost every single hero back to back to back to back…and now it’s time for me to take the game into my hands.” At the immunity challenge, the four contestant had to run through a maze collecting ladder pieces that they would then use to build a ladder and march their way up to a platform where they would raise a flag and win. Kelley took an early lead, with Angelina on her tail. Kass and Natalie were in the back of the pack, with Natalie intentionally holding back, trying to again minimize her threat level. It was neck and neck and Kelley was able to pull it out. Angelina was pissed, but hoped that Natalie and Kelley would join her in getting Kass out. Back at camp, the three joined up and discussed getting Kass out. Unfortunately, Kelley didn’t want Angelina and Natalie to get their way again. Kelley talked to Kass and said that she’d be willing to vote out Natalie or Angelina. Kass said that Natalie had already won, so she was a threat, but Kelley said that Angelina was probably more of a challenge threat if they wanted to win final immunity. Kass thought that Natalie was way more threatening, but was desperate for a way to stay safe. At tribal council, Angelina opened by saying that her big move to blindside Kass didn’t work, which made Natalie mad, telling her that it was both of their decision. Kass chimed in, saying that Angelina liked to take credit for everything to look better in front of the jury. Angelina said that she was just super competitive and strategic, and never meant to come across as a kiss-up to the jurors. Kelley said that she was in a powerful position, as there were obviously cracks in the alliance, and then proceeded to lead over and whisper to Natalie, telling her that she and Kass would be voting for Angelina. Natalie didn’t know if Kelley was trying to trick her, or if she was actually voting for Angelina, but considering how annoyed she was at Angelina trying to take credit for her move, she went to Kass to confirm, and Kass also said she would vote for Angelina. When the vote came, Natalie took the risk, and she, Kelley, and Kass all voted for Angelina. Angelina voted for Kass, and was pissed when she had to leave tribal. “I was honest with you Natalie,” she said, “I was never trying to take credit.” As she left, the jurors laughed, knowing Angelina’s attempt at jury management hadn’t worked. Kelley was happy that she was the puppet master in this vote and still had Natalie and Kass, who seemed a bit undivided.
