PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: With the finale on the horizon, Kass knew she was safe with her idol, but her allies had no idea she had it. Natalie and Angelina talked and decided that now would be the time to get rid of Kass. Aubry knew that she would have to win immunity if she wanted to stick around, and hoped that she could do it once more to secure her place in the finals. At the immunity challenge, the final five had to stand on a swaying platform, and every few minutes, they had to lift a certain foot or remove a hand from the pole they were holding. In this pendulum, Aubry was immediately feeling dizzy, but knew she had to stay on, as Angelina and Kass fell. When the had to put their right foot in the air, Aubry couldn’t take it anymore, and was eliminated after putting it down. It was Natalie and Kelley, and Natalie wanted her target to be as small as possible going into the finals, so she dropped, giving Kelley the edge so she could get one step closer to blindsiding Kass. Kelley won immunity and was so excited to be in the finale. Back at camp, Aubry knew it was probably going to be her going home, so she hoped she could maybe make a move. Natalie, Angelina, and Kass agreed that it was Aubry going, and they could finally go to the final four together. They decided to tell Kelley the plan, hoping Kelley would jump with them to get rid of Aubry. Natalie, of course, had plans of her own. She pulled aside Aubry and told her that she and Angelina had plans to blindside Kass. Aubry was excited that this could give her another life in the game, and agreed that Kass was a big threat that should go. The whole beach seemed quiet, as the group was small and all five ladies were confident in their own plans. The fact that Aubry wasn’t fighting much made Kass a little uneasy, but she knew she had the idol and figured it would shock everyone, considering she didn’t tell anyone about it. At tribal council, Kelley said that it was nice to breathe and just watch everything unfold. Aubry said the obvious boot would be her, but she hoped maybe there were some last minute tricks that could keep her around. Natalie tried to bluff Kass, saying that it was one of the easier boots of the season. After the votes were made, the group awaited the reading of the votes. Kass rose, shocking Angelina and stunning Natalie. “I didn’t tell anyone about this, but I have to play it tonight and don’t like souvenirs.” Aubry was pissed, knowing the inevitable to come. When the first vote came for Kass, Kass wasn’t surprised, but Kass was surprised to see her name a second time. Kelley was shocked by this, and when Kass was shown to have a third vote, Kass was pissed, knowing two people had flipped on her, expecting it to be Kelley and one of her villains. Aubry got the two votes, and was sent home by Kass’ idol. She was happy to have played as hard as she could, but also disappointed that she was finally in control and went home because of an idol. Though her goal of going to the final four with majority of Villains was complete, Kass knew that Natalie and Angelina had some explaining to do.
