PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After Harley was sent packing, the entirety of the Supers tribe seemed happy with their position in the game, with Joker feeling the odd-man-out. Joker decided to stir up some shenanigans and tell Peter, Victor, and Barry that the girls were a dangerous force, and only voted out Harley to bluff the guys. Victor obviously didn’t believe it, knowing that Diana was his closest ally, but Peter was a bit worried. Peter told T’Challa that he was worried about the girls, and T’Challa told him not to worry, and to vote for Joker in the next round. At the challenge it was revealed that the tribe would be split in two and have two separate tribal councils. In a random selection, the first tribe was made up of Barry, Peter, Diana, and T’Challa. The second tribe was made up of Victor, Natasha, Wanda, and Joker. Each tribe would have a challenge, and someone would be the WINNER and the LOSER of that challenge. The winners would receive immunity. The losers would immediately go home on each side. Then, the remaining seven players would head to tribal and vote one more person off. Barry, Peter, Diana, and T’Challa stepped up first. They had to stand on a perch and hold a heavy sandbag over their head. Diana and T’Challa seemed still, while both Peter and Barry struggled to hold their bags. Barry lost his footing and stepped down, devastated to be going home so suddenly. Peter fell, and it was down to Diana and T’Challa, in which Diana lost her footing, giving the win to T’Challa. Next was Victor, Natasha, Wanda, and Joker, who competed in the same challenge. Joker was shaking from the start and started yelling, which threw off Victor’s balance, causing him to fall off and say goodbye to his Survivor journey right away. He told Diana to win for the Justice League, as Joker and Wanda simultaneously fell, giving Natasha the immunity win. Back at camp, the group was sad to no longer have Barry and Victor, though Joker saw this as his opportunity to strike. Joker approached T’Challa and Peter about separating the women, but T’Challa said that it was not necessary and Joker would be going home. Joker laughed, and shrugged it off, ready to teach a lesson. The women, Peter, and T’Challa gathered round and decided to vote for Joker, but Diana had other plans. Diana told Natasha and Wanda that T’Challa and Peter were tight, and the Joker was no threat to them. Natasha didn’t know if the gamble was worth it, but Wanda did say that Joker could have an idol, and getting rid of Peter would be a huge move right now, since he was also so likable. Peter asked T’Challa if he should play the immunity idol he found, but T’Challa assured him he’d be okay. At tribal council, Diana made it sound certain that the tribe was aligned against Joker, while Joker said that he had other plans in store. Peter expressed the worry of Joker having an idol, though Wanda chimed in that Joker would have played his idol already if he had one. The votes were cast, and everyone was confident (for different reasons). Before the votes were read, Joker pulled out his idol and said “I was saving it for the true chaos.” Any votes cast against Joker will not count. Peter, knowing he had voted Joker, was worried it would come back to bite him and stood up with his idol. “My spidey senses are tingling,” he said, as he played it. T’Challa didn’t want him to waste it, but Peter wanted to make sure it wasn’t him. When the first two votes were revealed, T’Challa and Peter had voted for the Joker, which didn’t count. Next was Peter’s name. Peter assumed that maybe the Joker had voted for him, but saw the next two come in with his name on it. This meant that the girls had flipped on Peter, and Joker let out a big “I told you so, Spider-Boy.” Peter was relieved to play his idol correctly, and T’Challa apologized for not listening. The last vote was the Joker’s vote, and the women waited to find out which one of them was being sent home with the sole vote of the night. It was Diana’s name. Diana was devastated, but wished she had just won immunity, not thinking she was in any danger. To recap, in the end, Joker voted Diana, the girls voted Peter (didn’t count), and Peter and T’Challa voted for the Joker (didn’t count), meaning Diana was going home 1-0, shocking Wanda and Natasha completely. Wanda and Natasha knew they had some explaining to do with Peter, and the Joker was happy to cause just enough mayhem to keep him around yet again.
